Apple iPod Touch Review
iPod Touch is perhaps one of the best portable media player around. It is easy to use, however, when you are using it for the first time, you will have to configure and this can be done by connecting it to your computer. For this, you will also have to install one of the basic components for running the Apple’s media players and that is iTunes; you must iTunes to configure your iPod Touch for the first time. A data communication port is to be used for the connectivity. To get started with your new iPod touch, you will have to have these three things in tact, a computer with at least windows XP, a latest version of iTunes, and a USB port.
Once you done the initial formalities, you are ready to experience the world of multimedia in your hands. With the screen size of 8.9cm and an overall size of 110×61.8×8 mm, it becomes an incredibly good experience to watch movies or any other video, for that matter. Also, to make things better, you will be getting it with 480×320 pixels at 163 ppi which will enable you to get a good crisp video quality. With a simple user interface, it is really convenient to use it, but don’t make a mistake by taking simple as unstylish, its not. The use of multi-touch screen is another thing, you will love about, however when talking about buttons, some user finds it a bit annoying with the smaller home button size. You can experience a large storage capacity up to32 MB, but, what would be the use of it if you are not getting enough speed to perform all the actions, but, with the 128MB RAM, it will be fairly fast in navigating through the files and folders.
For more of the options, you will find it like that of iPhone, however, it is thinner than iPhone and one application makes it better than the iPhone and that is the email application which was not liked by many hardcore email users, the emails are checked from the Wi-Fi. But of course, it lacks other features that you would be enjoying in your iPhone; for instance, you may not get any phone, camera, internal speakers and the Bluetooth. But after all, if you are getting all this in your iPod Touch, why would there be any need to introduce an iPhone? And above all, you are buying it to use it as a music player, all other features are the additional benefits that you get.
Another thing that makes iPod Touch to stand out from its counterparts is the use of Wi-Fi that also enables you o browse and for it the safari browser is included. Using an internet on such a big portable screen, can be a real treat for most of you.
In a nut shell, it is a good offer by the Apple, as it has all for a music player, rather a bit extra like Notes, Calendar, Clock, Stocks, YouTube, Mail, Safari and much more that make it a really nice and elated feeling to have one of this for you.
