2008 Bentley Arnage Car Model Review
Bentley’s flagship brand Arnage is the carryover of its 2007 model. The 2008 Bentley Arnage car’s twin turbo V-8 creates 450 horsepower, as per the trim level. Priced over $200,000, the sedan is expensive, but value for money. Arnage R, Arnage RL and Arnage T are the three variants. The R is the base model, RL the extended-length model, and T is the sporty variant. Arnage T comprises of lesser chrome compared to the normal Bentley sedan, plus the seat upholstery is diamond-patterned. Arnage RL limousine has a 9.8 inches extended wheelbase, and prone to chauffeur-driven. Behind the back doors, the tiny back window provides a deep recessed sitting for individuals sitting in the back compartment. With the installation of two 12 inches DVD screens, the interior fittings are discreet.
The grille of Arnage T has a darker finishing compared to the Arnage RL and R, which have a chrome finishing. Bentley sedans mostly are hand- built. The four doors have some similarity to the recent Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph, and seem little different featuring some unique characteristics. The Arnage RL comes with a bottle-cooler installed in the middle rear armrest, and a backup camera.
The Arnage R the 6.8-liter V-8 (twin-turbocharged) generates 450 horsepower and the torque generated is 645 pounds-feet. The horsepower and the torque of Arnage T come to 500 and 738 respectively.
