2008 Bentley Continental GTC Review
The Bentley Continental GTC is a four seater convertible which represents the convertible model along with the Flying Spur sedan. The Continental GTC offers the open-top motoring along with the other features already present in the Continental GT coupe. The Continental GTC has a soft top along with a rear deck that is longer. Like in the other Bentleys, the interior showcases great craftsmanship and design with a mix of leather hides and wooden veneers to create a timeless appearance. The introduction of the Continental GTC is proudly announced by the Bentley Continental. This new two plus two convertible completes the model range of the Bentley Continental. There is the introduction of the Continental GT and the Continental Flying Spur too.
The car promises top speed at 190 mph with an all wheel drive that is sophisticated, air suspension, the Continental GTC is all poised and portrays a car with outstanding performance. The interior of the Continental GTC is an example of unrivalled craftsmanship and it utilizes leather veneers and natural wood of the highest quality.
The design personality of the Continental GTC is unique and distinctive. The new Continental GTC has a soft roof with a rear screen of heated glass. There is the tonneau which is hide-covered with a benefit of open top motoring.
The GTs performance is quite impressive. The convertible can accelerate to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds and it can reach a speed of 195 MPH when the roof is up and 190 mph when the roof is lowered. The GTC looks like the GT but the GTC’s rear deck is a chrome strip in a band around the compartment for the passenger. The convertible has a top storage in mind. The rear seats are comfortable for the children and the luxury features would include the wood trim and the leather seats. There is the leather steering wheels and the rugs made of lamb’s wool that are available at Bentley’s organization Mulliner.
The engine is a 552 HP that is turbo charged and 479 pounds of torque with an automatic transmission that is 6 speed. There is the clutchless Tiptronic manual code. This convertible also has an air suspension that is adjustable. The 2 pop up roll bars deploy when there is a roll over. These are behind the rear seats. There are the anti lock brakes and the monitoring system for tire pressure, electronic stability system and traction control.
