The new 5 door Alfa Romeo Milano hatchback is ready for its launch, which is being temporarily slated either in the Frankfurt Motor Show which is set to open its doors in the month of November 2009 or the 2010 Geneva Motor Show expo. The car which is being labeled as a serious threat to the VW Golf series will only be made in the five door format. It is considered to be having a wider and lower size specification giving it an edge over the Golf range from VW. The Milano is a testimony of the company’s new philosophy of coming up with the vehicles which are aimed at the medium car market. With the help of this strategy the Alfa Romeo Milano is aimed at targeting the customers for both the C as well as the D segment clientele.

Although there isn’t much details about the complete specifications about the car which have been shared by the manufacturers, it is believed that the car will be equipped to options of front wheel as well a four wheel drive option for the customers. It is also being planned to launch the car with the multi air engines, which are the next generation engines as far as automobiles go.
