Aston Martin Lagonda Limited is a British manufacturer of Luxury sports cars which was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. The name of the company is from the founder Lionel Martin and their race specials at Aston Hill speed hillclimb near Aston Clinton in Buckinghamshire. Their first car was named by Aston Martin. After changing the owner for several times, the Prodrive chairman David Richards purchased Aston Martin for £475m/$848m on 12 March 2007 finally.

After the start of developping of the high-performance vehicles, it has been used the Vantage name on a number of vehicles to indicate the high-performance version draw a distinction from the existing great touring (GT) models. For example, the Vantage was a obvious different model campare with its previous model DB-series,because the Vantage has a straight-6 powered version of the (normally V8) DBS. The power of this car was only 3,500 pounds weight(1,600Kg),which is much lighter design than the V12 engine because it’s featured the engine from the DBRS9 race car. Because of the engine, the max speed can be 600 hp (450 kW) and can be reach 60 mph (97 km/h) in under four seconds and achieve a top speed over 200 mph (320 km/h).
