Hero Honda is considered to be the leader in the motorcycle industry that is based in India. The company has offered a great number of motorcycles for the huge number of people who use two wheelers in their life. The company has brought out the Splendor NXG hoping to capture more customers. Hero Honda’s Splendor NXG is available in two varieties. The two varieties differ in the type of wheel used. While one uses spoke wheels the other one uses cast wheels. The bike is an improved version of the older Hero Honda Splendor and is aptly named Splendor NXG [NeXt Generation].

Hero Honda’s Splendor NXG is equipped with an engine that provides the bike to deliver a power of 7.7 PS. It has been seen that one can achieve a high speed of 90 kilometers per hour and can reach a speed of 60 kilometers per hour in 7.8 seconds. One can expect to get a mileage of 77 kilometers per liter even on city roads. The bike has been provided with a new fuel tank that can store 10.3 liters and a reserve of 1.8 liter for fuel. The Splendor NXG has also been provided with good graphics to create the bike as a visual treat for the customers.

The headlights in Hero Honda’s Splendor NXG has multi reflectors in it that allows good illumination at all times and is not affected even if the bike runs at low speeds. The front body and the visor of the bike have also been given a facelift. There are, however, some drawbacks with the Splendor NXG as the bike does not have features like disc brakes or a self start system that are nowadays common among most bikes.

Hero Honda’s Splendor NXG is being offered in five different colors and also has a combination of seven stripes. The bike is available in one of the following colors: black, silver, red, maroon and blue. Though Hero Honda is claiming that the engine that has been provided with the Splendor NXG is completely new it has been found to have similarities with the engine of the previous models manufactured by the company. The bike has been equipped with stylish features which are further improved with the help of the large tail light at the rear of the bike. It has also been noted that Hero Honda’s Splendor NXG has got a good stability in the bike.

With Hero Honda’s Splendor NXG and Splendor Plus the company attempts to increase its customer base and has been quite successful in the attempt. With a more or less efficient engine in the bike and some great features the bike seems all set to become a favorite with the masses. The company has come out with the model as they had experienced great customer satisfaction with the previous Splendor bikes. There is a great deal of expectation with Hero Honda’s Splendor NXG and only time will tell how the bike will fare in the Indian market.
