Hyundai SonataThe roads of India are now full of different kinds of premium cars from the various foreign manufacturers that have flooded the country. One such premium car that stands out amongst the sea of cars is the Hyundai Sonata. As a company Hyundai has reaped considerable success in the sub continent region and has developed a wide customer base with the various models that it has released in different market segments. The Hyundai Sonata is amongst those premium cars that have come in to their own by means of advanced engineering and state of the art technology. The credit for developing the captivating Hyundai Sonata goes to the global auto major company Hyundai.

Since its release in India, the car has been experiencing a steady growth in terms of popularity. One of the key factors behind the success is the fact that it gives a low mileage along with a very pleasurable driving experience. The car has been made available to the public in two variants. The Hyundai Sonata Embera 2.4 M/T and the Hyundai 2.4 A/T both are really powerful. They feature a 16 V DOHC 4 cylinder inline engine which has a displacement of 2359 cc. The engine uses an intelligent fuel system known as the MPFI which helps to optimize fuel consumption.

The engine of the Sonata is all set to give you a maximum power of 165 PS at the rate of 5800 rpm and a surprisingly high torque of about 23.6kgm at the rate of 4250 rpm. The minimum turning radius of the steering is about 5.46m. The power assisted circular hydraulic braking system ensures a fast response when you step on the brakes. The car has disc brakes in all four tires.

Standing upon aluminum alloy wheels and R 16 tubeless tires the car has a great road grip and stability even at high speeds. The Hyundai Sonata will be able to comfortably seat a family of 5. The 10 liter capacity of the fuel tank will give you the freedom to fill it up and forget about it for days. The two variants of the Sonata come with a 5 speed H Matic transmission and a 4 speed H Matic transmission system respectively. Apart from these features the car has additional plus points with features like central locking, immobilizer, anti submarine seats, keyless entry, rear defogger and much more.
