Tata Indica V3 Review Features
New Tata Indica V3 was unveiled in Auto Expo 2008 in Tata’s stall in Auto Expo 2008. Tata Motors unveiled the new Indica V3 on the first day to compete with Getz, Swift, Aveo-UVA and Palio the new Indica will come into the market by the middle of 2008 told by Tata Motors. It will come with new design and better performance then current model. It has a proportionate and sporty stance with the front end getting extra stretched headlamps. It looks like same old one but it is improved much better then older model in terms of design and performance. They still not show information on interiors as it’s under development and would be complete in few weeks.
The new Indica is longer and wider than the V2. The new Indica would be powered by a 1.3 liter quadra jet common rail diesel engine and a 1.2 liter VVT petrol engine which would be manufactured at the Fiat-Tata plant at Ranjangaon in Maharashtra. The new Indica would have larger 14 inch wheels with 175/65 spec tubeless tyres and finally the tyres fill up the wheelarch unlike the current Indica.
The new Indica is likely to be priced between Rs.4 – 5 lakh and would be launched by the middle of 2008. I would hope a good car since Tata talking great performance. I wasn’t happy with V2 so looking forward for new model. So wait for few days and we would get a brand new car Tata Indica V3.
I am sure this will be a big hit in the next few years, especially when maruti is struggling to fulfil their customer demands for swife diesel models, and palio multijet is not favoured by many due to it’s poor build quality and ageing design.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION PALIO’S BUILD QUALITY IS BETTER THAN MOST OF C+ SEGMENT CARS AND EQUALLY SAFE.THOUGH IT DOES’NT COME EQUIPPED WITH GOODIES LIKE ABS AND AIRBAGS IT IS STILL SAFER THAN SWIFT.I MYSELF OWN A SWIFT ZXI,WITH AIRBAGS AND ABS(2007) AND A PALIO 1.2ELX(2001 MODEL).THE SWIFT IS JUST 1YEAR 6 MONTHS OLD, BUT HAS STARTED TO SHOW ITS AGE, BUT MY SEVEN YEARS OLD PALIO STILL HOLDS LIKE A BULLET PROOF TANK WHIC IS BUILD FOR MY WHOLE LIFE.HOPE YOU READ LOTS AUTO MAGAZINES AND IMPROVE YOUR KNOWLEDGE.
No doubt the quadra engine will be good but Tata should work on finishing, aesthetics abd better interiors.
any idea about when new Indica will be launched in the marker? its be a long wait !!!.. i am holding a 2000 model indica.. need a replacement for that.. waiting for the new one !
This is gonna be the best Indica and probably the best Hatch back available in india after Fabia(8lacs!)….
The quadrajet engine from the Fiat stable is a proven one….the same is used in Swift…tis will be in Indica – Vista – Aura… yes thats the name for it. Other models will have TATA Dicor and turbo engines.
The aesthetics are different than any previous TATA car and seemingly fabulous. It has a centre mounted tachometer which looks good. Lot of care has been taken to launch the vehicle with best of quality.

i ah egerly waiting for indica v3.as indica launch has created history in world.So this will also.I am using the very first model of indica launch model still its running without any trouble after 94000 km.I have trvel all over india on my indica.I am greatful to mr.ratan tata &his team for making such anice car with international standerd.

People go for indica only for its cost advantage, Tata claims that it has been built in new platform but not sure of its refinement, If refinement comes with a good cost no doubt this would be a good car.
