How to Convert Word Document to JPEG

September 4, 2008 by Amit Bhawani

Learn how to convert Word Documents to JPEG (image) format. First of all you need to download the Universal Document Converter from Print Driver. Once you download the software, make sure you install it before you are ready to convert the doc to JPEG. When you are done with that, go ahead and open the document that you want to convert in Microsoft Word. Then go to the print button under the File menu. There you will have the option to select printers.

Word JPG Convert

Select “Universal Document Converter” and hit the “Properties” button. Select “Document to JPEG” and hit “Ok”. Then press “OK” in the Microsoft print window dialog and it will start converting. Once its done, it will be, by default saved to the C:\UDC Output Files folder and then the document will open in the Microsoft Picture Viewer or any other program assigned by you for viewing images. This is another helpful and straightforward conversion software that is a must have for techies!

It can also be done using Print Conductor, in conjunction with Universal Document Converter to convert Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word DOC, Microsoft Excel XLS, Autodesk AutoCAD DWG, Microsoft PowerPoint PPT into image formats like TIFF, GIF or JPEG.

    “Universal Document Converter”
    Is this a “Freeware?”

This is a trial version and found to be unsatisfactory. Stop recommending this software.

Submit Comment < The commenting feature is a part of wordpress blogging CMS where the blog readers can add their views for the blog articles. If you are really happy with their service, why not just buy it and help the developers? If not settle down with the trail period and stay happy because everyone cannot offer everything for free.

You are fit to be a politician. Just for one conversion assignment you advice me to buy this software. The purpose is to make a pamplet about a prayer and there may not be further use.

Amit, some people to see a ‘solution’ to everything in life in Buying Something. However this is not a solution at all. Shame you couldn’t offer a brainier solution than Buying Something and hogging up bandwidth with queries from Google about converting doc to jpg.

What you suggested is not a solution at all. I suppose if I gave you my life’s savings you would offer me ‘solutions’ to all my problems for about a year, buying this or that.

Hi, Can this work in reverse like OCR? I have tried making jpegs into PDF and then converting to word. But that has not created a 100% solution for myself
