Grand Theft Auto is an absolute experience for gamers, who would like to be the part of a grand auto theft. The game has had various versions over the years and the latest version is really thrilling. It had started with Grand Theft Auto (GTA) initially and then proceeded with a series of gaming sequels including the Grand Theft Auto II, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and recently Grand Theft Auto IV.

The latest version was launched this year in the month of April on the 29th, to a much disappointed GTA fans, who were hoping to have received the game 6 months earlier. The game created by Dave Jones is one that is typical of Sandbox-style gaming-series. It has been into various critical assessments due to its violence and motivation, which may seem to be harmful for youngsters. The entire game consists of adventure, action sequences which might seem a little brutal for any age.

There are very occasional role-playing stuffs because major part of the game involves stealth or else open fights along with diving and racing elements also. However, the genre remains stealing of motor vehicles on a regular basis. This entire series started in 1997 and now links 9 games to the series and the 10th is being worked on. Various famous actors have lent their voice to the characters of the games in the subsequent series.

Unlike in other games the gamers here can have the availability of prostitutes and later on may kill them and rob them of their money if desired. This has landed the game in various controversies involving the already gory action sequences which are deemed unsuitable for minors. At the same time it is the minors, who get more worked up at being able to play GTA and fight it out in open.
