HTC P3600You can work and you can play with the companionable HTC P3600. It’s up to the minute features and packed technology allow the user to do just about anything. The design is solid and sleek perfect for anyone to possess. The HTC P3600 is a svelte PPC that is only108mm tall, 58.2mm wide and 18.4mm deep. The TFT touchscreen is 2.8 inches in size and has a standard resolution of 240×320 pixels. The phone is available in a fresh creamy white colour as well as a more serene black. The casing is mostly plastic of either colour, with patches of pale silver.

Although the phone is a touchsceen, it is also adorned with a few hard buttons. These buttons are for answer, end/reject, ok, menu, and Windows Mobile Start. There are more buttons on the right side of the phone for voice speed dialling and voice recording, camera control and on/off.

The Features

  • The PPC phone has a mini-USB connector and an infrared port. The connector is basically for battery charging, attaching headphones and making a wired connection to a PC.
  • The HTC P3600 has HSDPA support, with a data transfer rate of up to 1.8Mbps. The user can be satisfied with the 3G data speeds, which top out at 384Kbps. The GSM turns the P3600 into a quad-band ‘world’ phone.
  • P3600 features a sharp 2 mega-pixel camera on its back whilst the front has small camera that has been designed for video calling.
  • The inclusive array of local wireless connectivity is complimented by Wi-Fi, which supports 802.11b and g standards as well as the Bluetooth v2.0.

  • The phone has a 64MB RAM memory and 128MB ROM memory installed. The free memory is 55MB. The memory slot allows the memory to be expanded with MiniSD cards.
  • The phone comes with different software that bump up the standard Windows Mobile 5.0. These include a Zip file manager, an Adobe PDF reader, and voice speed dial software. There is also a plug-in for the Windows Mobile Today Screen which has a provision for one-tap access to certain device features that are access to the Communication Manager program, the screen rotation from portrait to landscape, screen brightness settings and battery monitoring and power settings. This makes the viewing of emails and documents a whole lot more fun.

The HTC P3600 is like a golden lily, both impressive to look at and worthwhile to have.
