Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) Program

Selection Process
The selection process for Microsoft Student Partners in India is now open. Register immediately to avoid the last-minute rush and possibly missing out on important announcements.

Here are the steps required to register for the MSP India selection process:
Register for Imagine Cup 2010 in any of the categories (www.imaginecup.com). If you already have an account on that website, you do not need to create a new login.
Record a 120 second Video on any current or upcoming Microsoft technology and upload it at www.youtube.com/indiamsp (Not mandatory, but candidates who post the video will have an advantage). Suggested topics are:

  • Introduction to the .Net Framework
  • Introduction to Silverlight
  • Microsoft Windows 7 and IE 8
  • Introduction to Microsoft SQL Server 2008
  • Any other Microsoft technology.

Register here and provide all relevant details:

Note: Microsoft may even carry out in-person MSP Interviews in a few cities. This will be in conjunction to Microsoft events happening in the city. Announcements will be made on this page from time to time with event details like time, venue etc. All candidates who fall in that region and can attend the event are requested to do so. This will ensure speedy processing of your application. However, only pre-registered candidates will be screened. Microsoft will not bear any travel expenses that you may incur to attend such events.

In case you are not able to attend these in-person events, you can still be part of the selection process. Submit the video, fill the registration form and you shall get screened if we find you interesting!

Benefits
As an MSP, a host of benefits are available:

* Welcome kit (including invitation letter & ID card)
* Exclusive MSP Boot-camps conducted by Microsoft
* MSDN subscription
* Rewards & Recognition for top performers
* Networking opportunities
* Technical training & resources
