A Guide to Becoming an Affiliate by DGM Pro

This manual is an introduction to becoming an Affiliate with dgm. It can be used as a guide if you are new to the dgm network or if you just need to get reacquainted with dgmPro. There are many new features and enhancements on the latest version to help you optimise your campaigns and maximise your Return On Investment (ROI). Alternatively, it can act as an aid if you are new to the world of affiliate marketing and need a basic introduction to help you get started.

• Getting Started – UK Website
  The company website can be located at www.dgm-uk.com. This tells you everything you need to know about dgm, our product offerings and how to signup up as an affiliate.
  

  

• Signup
  To sign up to become a dgm affiliate and begin making money from your site could not be easier. Simply click on the ‘become an affiliate’ banner.
• Contact Details
  You will then be presented with the following online form:
  

  

• Categories
  You will then be asked to select the categories relevant to your site i.e. – If your site is about cheap holidays then select the ‘Add’ Button. The URL field asks you to add the URL(s)/Websites which you will be using to publish your dgm content on. You can add
  an unlimited number of sites. To add them, click the ‘Add’ Button.
• Notifications
  The bottom of the page allows you to choose which, if any, e-mail types you wish to receive from dgm. You can select from:
  Newsletter Updates – Information on the latest programs, network and industry news.
  Campaign Information – Information regarding specific programs that you have signed up to.
  Category Specific News – Communication regarding specific advertising categories – e.g. – Health and beauty and Travel. These relate to the categories that you chose earlier.
  Format – This gives you the option to receive your communication in plain text or HTML.
• Application-thank you
  You will then go to a summary page (see below) with your contact details, selected categories and selected URLs for publishing network content.
• Application validation
  You will then receive an automated e-mail to your chosen e-mail contact address. Here you will be asked to validate your e-mail address by clicking on the link contained in the text of the e-mail. Once you have clicked to validate your e-mail address you will be presented with the message below.
• Acceptance notification
  Providing that you application meets dgm’s stringent approval process, you will then get an e-mail directing you to logon to dgmPro. This e-mail also confirms your user name and details relating to your password. The content within the e-mail covers basic starter instructions on joining programs, creative links, checking stats and bank details. Congratulations! You are now ready to login into dgmPro and start earning money with dgm today!

Definitions
The following defines the different fields on the campaign screen :
EPM Earnings Per 1000 impressions
EPC Earnings Per Click = Commission divided by clicks
CTR% Click Thru Rate = Clicks divided by Impressions as a
percentage
OSC% On Site Conversions = Sales count divided by clicks as a
percentage
PPC Restricted – Brand bidding not permitted
Unrestricted – Brand bidding allowed
