How to Add Tweet This in your Blog Posts

April 29, 2009 by Amit Bhawani

Do you want your blog readers to tweet your blogs & pages? This can help you in promoting your blog posts because twitter can help you in gaining traffic from the links posted there. The blog post url are shortered using Th8.us service. Normally other services like TwitterFox etc would shorten your links using TinyURL.com which shortens your URL upto 25 characters on the otherhand Th8.us makes it much more shorter with 19 characters. The plugin automatically converts all your blogposts into shorter links and displays the shorter link with the title at the end of the blog posts.

TweetThis Add Twitter LinksYou have the option of selecting the Short URL service from Adjix.com, bit.ly, h3o.de, hex.io, idek.net, is.gd, Lin.cr, Metamark.net, ri.ms, Snurl.com, Th8.us, TinyURL.com, Tweetburner.com, urlb.at, or Zi.ma.

Download Tweet This plugin which can help you automate the process of adding a link to the post end.

Other options included in this plugin are :
Only show Tweet This while viewing Single posts or pages.
Hide Tweet This on Pages.
Use www. instead of http:// in shortened URL’s.
