Affiliate marketing is basically a method of promoting web business merchants, advertises etc. In this marketing the publisher i.e. affiliate is paid for every visitor visiting the website, or sale of any merchandise. It can be called Internet Marketing in other words. Affiliate marketing has become a growing

Let’s discuss about Commission Junction (CJ) now. Commission Junction, a Value Click company, is a global leader in the online advertising channels of affiliate marketing and managed search. CJ was founded in 1998 and it is based in Santa Barbara, California and has offices around the world. In 2001, CJ made a revolutionary move by publishing the performance metrics of all advertisers, publishers, and ads within their network, the CJ Marketplace. This approach provided both advertisers and publishers for the first time a way to gauge the value of their existing and potential relationships based on two key metrics, average earnings per 100 clicks (EPC) and network earnings – and fundamentally took affiliate marketing to the next level. Commission Junction has become one of the largest affiliate networks in North America. CJ has almost 1,500 customers including famous sites like eBay, Yahoo, Home Depot etc. In 2002, CJ abolishes individual tracking links per product and also redesigned their product catalog system. In Oct 2003 the company was purchased by ValuClick. In June 2006 CJ introduced LMI (Link Management Initiative).
Commission Junction also has provision of software tools that allow advertisers to identify, analyze, track and connect with the Web Publishers that provide best return for most of the advertisers. CJ has become one of the largest affiliate brokers on the internet and has many offices in UK due to which Webmasters using the service can pay in pounds. These commissions are all amassed together and placed in your main Commission Junction account which is better than signing up to individual affiliate programs and getting small amounts of money. This is especially true when a lot of affiliate programs will only pay you when your account has reached 20 pounds or so. Well, I just need your help.
Well, I had been using CJ for last 3 months. I had been trying to get the merchants approved, but so far no success.
It shows in waiting then, I can see it as declined.
I am bit confused here. My site has quality Indian Traffic, I just don’t understand.
Can you suggest what is wrong? How you get approved by the merchants?

@ Mithus – Normally all the CJ advertiers expect your website to have US based traffic and the main reason behind rejection is the niche of your website, example if your website is related to kids all the related advertisers would approve you, and others would just decline it.
