Airtel 3G Launched in Hyderabad – Plans & Packages

Airtel launched it’s 3G internet service today in Hyderabad, at a press conference at Hotel Grand Kakatiya, Hyderabad. Airtel has its 3G services live already in 21 cities in India and has 2 million customers in India running on the Airtel 3G service. Now the 3G would be commercially live in Hyderabad too.

Saina Nehwal, the brand ambassador of Airtel had come to the event to officially launch the 3G services in Hyderabad.
The conference is live right now, and we would be updating the news with the plans and packages as soon as Airtel announces them. Till then, check out the Airtel 3G plans in the other locations in the country.

Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Davangere, Dehradun, Delhi, Hosur, Jaipur, Mangalore, Manipal, Mumbai, Mysore, Patna, Shimoga, Tanjore, Tumkur, Tuticorin, Udupi, Vellore.

How to subscribe to Airtel 3G –
You can just send an SMS as 3G to 121 if you have a 3G enabled device. You would get the information and settings for the same and the 3G service would start.

Plans –
3 types of plans –
For Occasional users
Rs. 8 pack
30 mins pack
Rs. 61 pack

For medium users –
30 day packs – Rs. 100, Rs. 200, Rs. 450, Rs. 750 plans

Flexishield packs –
For enterprises and heavy users. Prices start from Rs. 675 with 1.25GB download limit. After the limit ends, you need to pay 10p per MB download.
After 14GB limit is reached for the month, you need to pay Rs. 2000 and the speed throttles to 20 kbps.

Airtel has invested Rs. 1350 crores in Andhra Pradesh itself for the 3G services. Airtel would be partnering with various companies to launch USB dongles, notebooks and netbooks which would be having a compatibility of using 3G SIM of Airtel.
