Blog Redesigned 5000+ Readers Milestone
Blog Redesign :
Finally after around a year full of blogging this blog has reached 5000+ readers and is increasing. I have a team of writers who blog here and also some guest bloggers also contribute. In the celebration of the 5000 readers i have redesigned this blog and waiting for suggestions and review of this new design.
Many of my readers complained about a simple look and less images used in the last theme, which is the reason i planned for a more colourful look which offered everything from usability, better reading experience, easy commenting & comment reading. You can easily surf through all the sections in this blog and also move into other blogs like health, career, pictures, india & auto.
Blog Statistics :
This blog was started in April 2007 on my birthday, but i seriously started full time blogging from October 2007 and now its around a year where the blog has reached 5000+ readers and is daily ready by many readers who reach this blog from different search engines.
Traffic Stats :
Alexa Traffic Rank stats shows that the blog’s traffic is decently improving every passing month and i have setup targets for every year because its very important for you to setup some goals and try to achieve them.
Readers Count :
Though this blog readers are mainly from search engines, finally i have crossed the first milestone of 5000 readers and now my next stop would be at 10000 count which could be by this year end.
I would like to thank all of you readers who have subscribed for the latest updates from this blog and everyone of you who regularly comment on the blog posts and add your views. Please add your views and suggestions for this new theme and do let me know if you would like to contribute in any of our blogs.

I don’t know what you mean by the ‘Re-Design’ Its just the http://colorlabsproject.com/arthemia/ ArtThemia with some modifications like footer tweaking and logo addition. Anyways..

@ Ben : I never said i hard coded the theme or got a free theme, its a redesign over the last design which was very simple, depends on the way you see it! Thanks for the comments!

Its really a wonderful move… This new design is more professional… It is now more easy to find the contact page link… Also, better use some large icon for your feed link…

@Pavan Kumar: I will try to make the feed icon bigger but from my experiance very less people subscribe to the external readers on my blog except the email subscription, hence i didnt go for a bigger rss button. Also i didnt forget the contact page and other pages in the top menu.

@Rockstar Sid: I didnt understand what you mean about the photos in the about page? Both are just 3 months old pictures

@Rockstar Sid: I have updated the avatar in gravatar.com because all these avatars are loaded from there, i guess they dont update in the older posts may be.

About contact page link, I meant-previously it was not “contact” but something like “ask a question” or something like that, which made it difficult for users to contact you.
And also, I don’t think the old gravatar photo will be used on old posts. But I guess a chance that the old photos being used from your blog cache…

@Pavan Kumar: I see the new gravatar now, it seems they take 5-10 minutes to update it all over the comments. Also you were right about the contact page, i previously had sections like ‘Ask a Question, Submit a Blog into the Indian Bloggers Directory’, ‘Normal Contact Page’, ‘Advertising Contact’ etc which are all removed now. Do let me know if you find any bugs in this new design!

According to your last 2 months graph, you can reach your 10000 readers goal in 124 days(approx) that is approximately Feb 12th of 2009. But if you reach it by end of this year, it is really SUPERB. best of luck.

@ christma: Thanks for the calculations, well lets target feb 12 2009 for the 10k readers, though we cannot always say that the counts always increase with the same rate, though time will tell what will happen!

you have not completely i think so you can able to move the side gadgets up and down when you keep your mouse pointer movie gadget title bar your mouse pointer changes into a four headed arrow keep pressing your mouse button and drag to required place you need..
Have the ability of even minimizing and maximizing the side gadgets (You have to press at the she green button at the gadget title bar)…
