Hello amitbhawani-dot-com,

Thank you for publishing this informative summary of antiVirus (anti virus) software solutions available for Microsoft Windows 7 (beta) users / testers. As the reader might guess, I've finally installed Windows 7 (build 7000, beta).

I'm fortunate to have followed the link to amitbhawani.com when I queried for "recommended freeware antivirus 'windows 7'" because you provide a practical recommendation-- useful advice for Windows 7 users, by providing an illustration (screen capture) indicating precisely the nature of the Windows 7 alert message, so any users who might be uncertain if they are taking the proper action will better understand that the information provided here is relevant to their problem, and that's comforting news for a newbie (or beginner computer users). Nice work!

FYI: I selected Kaspersky based on the recommended software titles listed here, as well as what i learned from the several different OEM product summaries i read.

I didn't notice it from this article (maybe i missed the comment?), but according to the Kaspersky anti-virus I've d/l for Windows 7, it is more of a suite-- complete with a Firewall. I'm glad of that, because it saves me the time i would otherwise have had to spend, just like with the Anti-Virus software-- actively researching the best solutions for a Windows 7, 3rd-party Firewall! Kaspersky is the top-find, indeed! :-)

Best regards, and thanks for the tips!
