My mac wasn’t booting up and this was since a month! So i finally decided to get it tested for the hard drive functioning and there are just a couple authorized dealers and resellers in Hyderabad for the Apple products. One of them whom we can trust or get anything done is the Apple iStore from Reliance.
The Apple iStore is located at –
Ground Floor of Ashoka Metropolitan Mall, on the junction of Banjara Hills Road No. 1 and Road No. 12! Its a store by Reliance Digital and they are the resellers of the Apple Store products, but also provides servicing and repair of the macbooks etc.
This review is just to share what you can expect at an iStore from a place where Apple doesn’t have their own real store to sell the products! The store had everything including the laptops, iPods, iPhone, the OS packets, Time capsule, iMacs etc. so you won’t feel like you are missing out any product. I could see the family pack CD of Apple Snow Leopard OS already selling for Rs. 3000 there.
The store has some good technical support team with nice knowledge about the Mac OS, as they were easily able to understand what I was explaining about the problem I had with my mac. They surely know the way to understand a problem and reply to it. This is why people love Apple and everything about them!
With a walk in the store for a few minutes, you will see every product placed in an order and people won’t need to search for anything. Macs arranged well in one corner, iMacs in the other and on one side, the mac accessories and other gadgets like iPhone and iPods. When asked for a price of a Macbook Pro with Student discount, I was given a well printed quotation but that missed the main part – The specifications! It should be included in the quotation to make it look more informative and decisive.
As its one of the only iStores in Hyderabad, so its the best in its own way! The exterior look, the interior and everything well organized. Be sure to give a visit and see how it is and its worth visiting if you want to buy any Apple product in Hyderabad.

I recently bought a spare battery from a reliance digital store. I must say that having owned and used macs for the last 12 years and bought macs in America and UK, the Reliance digital service is the WORST I have ever experienced at a mac store. They want a receipt for a faulty product (I do not know why no body else makes it and the serial number will tell them when it was bought) and even when a receipt is produced it is going to take them 4 days and a lot of yelling to tell me that it does not work.
Why pay a premium for this service?
