Applying for Adsense Check Your Domain Age for Approval

May 9, 2010 by Yogesh Patel

Adsense team has finally tighten up the screws for the publishers who apply for a new application from India and China. This should come as a bad news to all the existing publishers and blogger who are looking to Apply for Adsense.

Speaking on this issue Google Adsense Team said that they to impose such rules to ensure the quality of their advertising network and to protect the interests of advertisers & publishers Adsense has to impose domain age qualifications for the fresh applications and this doesn’t mean that new publishers are not accepted.

So what is Domain Age Qualifications? Indian publishers who want to sign up for Adsense in order to have an Adsense account has to pass the domain age qualifications i.e., you site or blog should be older than atleast 6 months and that is not all your blog should have enough content which is unique.

Yes, Google Adsense is accepting new sites/blog which are 6 months old but you should write your own unique content. If your content is copied from Wikipedia or Ezinearticles or some other sources found on Internet then its a duplicated content and forget about Adsense is such cases.

And also Blogspot blogs are also acceptable for the new applications but the above criteria for the new applications is also applicable for blogspot blog.

One can easily say that these rules were imposed in order to avoid fraudalent activities in India and some of the other Asian countries. In India we have often seen people buying and selling Adsense account, renting Adsense Accounts and much above them fraudalent and invalid clicks. You can buy an Adsense account for Rs 500 and that too buy bulk get discount. I don’t know how far its working but I am sure that this is not the way to get an Adsense account.

By seeing such activities one can easily predict that Adsense team might come up with more strict rules for the Indian publishers. I hope publishers from India understand this and put work in a legal way.

    Amit,

    Here’s a scenario:

    1. My my main blog (e.g.www.mymainblog.com) gets approved after 6 months of quality content and old domain.

    2. Now I get the adsense code from google

    3. Now, Can I use that adsense code on other new websites.

    4. If I wanted to start a new site (e.g. mynewsite.com), can I use the same code on this new site or does http://www.mynewsite.com has to be 6 months old too and have good quality content?

    Thanks.

All those are fake accounts which sometime or the other time has to be observed by Google and they will ban it at some point of time. For further more knowledge on Paid Adsense Account read – http://www.onlinetipsblog.com/truth-about-paid-adsense-account-in-india/

You can directly showup ads on any blog if you have adsense account. The above condition is applied only if you are applying for a new Adsense Account.

This rule was not applied. My domain is registered in mid-September and in mid-October I got adsense approval without a single retry for my blog.
