Barack Obama Vs John McCain Who will be the Next President?
Home » General UpdatesBarack Obama
“Obama is coming this way, clear the way for him”…were the words uttered by a crowd of cheering tribesmen when Obama was welcomed back to his father’s ancestral homeland in Luo Land, western Kenya in the village of Nyangoma Kogelo in recent past. Barack Obama had risen to political prominence after dealing with a bunch of corrupt men, The Mount Kenya Mafia who are responsible for crushing down the beautiful land of Kenya. At the interview “”Meet The Press” in the NBC, Obama intimated that he had plans to run for the United States Presidency in 2008.
Barack Obama Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, on August 4, 1961, Barack Hussein Obama is the junior United States Senator. He is from Illinois. He serves the U.S. Senate as the only African American Senator. Barack Obama was a student of Harvard Law School and of Columbia University. He worked as a university lecturer, lawyer of civil rights, community organizer before taking up public office. He launched his campaign in 2003 in the U.S Senate, he served in the Illinois Senate in 2003.
At the Democratic National Convention in 2004, Obama delivered the keynote address while still at the helm of duties as a state legislator. The U.S. Senate elections were won by him in November 2004. Brack Obama also acted as the co-sponsor of the transparency legislation, conventional weapons enactment. He made trips to Europe, Africa and Middle East on official purposes. At the 110th Congress, he has sponsored legislation on climate change, nuclear terrorism, electoral fraud and lobbying. In his Presidential campaign in 2007, Obama was heard professing to end the Iraq War, providing health care facilities universally, spurting the growth of energy independence as priority issues.
Barack Obama is otherwise known for authoring two books, Dreams from My Father, a personal memoir and observations on U.S political scene, Audacity of Hope. Writing about Obama as a political leader in March, 2007, the Washington Post has to say that he was the person who could move the country far beyond the cultural wars. Yet, Obama who describes his political inclinations as a “Democrat” was criticized for his political actions. Peggy Noonan, in December 2006, Wall Street Journal, commented that it was too early to feel excited about Obama’s political career.
John McCain
John McCain, a senior Senator in the U.S is from Arizona. He is a candidate for the nomination of the Republican Party in the Presidential Election of 2008. McCain’s father and grandfather were in the United State Navy as Admirals. McCain flew attack aircraft and became a naval aviator. In 1967 in the bombing mission over North Vietnam, he was injured. He also became a prisoner of war and underwent a captivity of over five years. There were periods of torture. After he moved to Arizona, retiring from the Navy, he entered politics. He was elected to the House of Representatives in the U.S. from Arizona’s Congressional District. He was also elected to the U.S Senate in 1986. He was also re elected as the Senator between 1992 and 2004.
McCain was a candidate in the presidential election but he was defeated for the republican nomination by George Bush in a very closely combated battle. In the presidential election of 2000 he was the front runner but there was a collapse in 2007 in his campaign due to financial issues. He has planned a robust comeback in 2008. McCain announced his candidacy in the 2008 Presidential nomination on 28th February in 2007. It was telecast on the Late Show with David Letterman. McCain had started this Presidential campaign officially on 25th April, 2007. McCain is 72 years old presently and if he wins the election in 2008, he would be the oldest person to attain presidency.
McCain’s strong points as a presidential candidate, 2008 would include, a recognition of national name, major lobbying sponsorship and campaign finance reform, his experience as a POW and his experience as a presidential campaign in 2000, his fundraising abilities. McCain was born in 1936, on August 29 at the Coco Solo Air Base to John S. “Jack” McCain, Jr. and Roberta (Wright) McCain. McCain had to move to different places in the first few years of his life. McCain attended St Stephen’s School in Virginia.
Its upto you guys who will win? Barack Obama or John McCain

[...] our last post which tells you why you should vote, also check out our Barack Obama Vs John McCain article. Now Barack Obama has started a video campaign which is really worth watching atleast [...]
I find it very amusing to hear Obama is going to crack down on the the lobbyist. Is that after this years election and he gets elected? Don’t think they would appreciate that. In looking at the record of type of campaign contributions, he has received a similar amount to that of McCain. I consider that a ploy to encourage votes from the unsuspecting voter!

I need answers, not excuses!
Why does the Democratic Party choose to remain silent about Obama’s questionable National Security clearance since this is essential for him to perform his job as President of the United States and also assure us of his qualification? Have they done a great in-service to the people and our country by sweeping the issue under the carpet in fear that it could jeopardize the election!
It is unclear to me why an adequate and essential background/security check was not accomplished in a timely manner on Obama prior to his running and being elected to the Senate representing the State of Illinois. To make matters worse, the Democratic Party decides to endorse him again as a potential candidate for the President of the United States fully knowing his questionable associations.
The reason for not doing an adequate and acceptable background check is” that the only requirements for a Senator or President is they must be born in America, be the required age (30 or 35) and be a resident for so many years in the state for which they would choose to run”. Now that is the general overall requirement but should not be misconstrued to mean even if you have a criminal background you could be employed in a top level government position, or does it? Every employer conducts some form of background check if they use good sense and doesn’t hire individuals that show questionable areas of concern in their history. So I don’t buy the inference that:
• One was done but a few discrepancies would require further clarification but was not deemed essential or critical to disqualify Obama from running for the Senatorial position, a decision made by the Democratic Party and not the state agency whom is required to accomplish the independent and non bias investigation.
• His association with Wright, Ayers, Rezko, and Frank Marshall Davis were merely acquaintances and not people he dealt with or had seen on a regular basis.
• He did not lie about his Muslim faith and education; he just did not disclose it since he switched over to Christianity. It was only done as a precaution to avoid unfair discriminatory practice that he has faced most of his life!
I find it extremely sad for a man of high intelligence with a excellent law degree finds it necessary to be so devious, treating us like we are totally stupid and then chooses to use the racist card so readily to secure votes from his constituents.
Questions about his student loans and debts, his drug use, birth certificate, and associations with questionable individuals still go unanswered.
If the situation of his background clearance had happened prior to the 911 terrorist attack on New York, It may have been labeled as extreme carelessness. However, since this happened well after that (2004/2005) and after extreme measures were taken to assure utmost security for the American people, it must be looked upon as a deliberate act of omission by the Democratic Party as well as Obama with little regard for the national security of our country.
Sudden appearance of documentation at this late date should be looked upon as a ploy to cover up, similar to that of the Watergate scandal involving Nixon. The only exception instead of documents disappearing, in this case they would miraculously be reappearing (misplaced in error!) and would be back dated to suit the situation. To avoid further corruption in the Democratic Party, immediate action should be taken against all those who perpetrated the deception and failed to take measures to correct it before the campaign proceeded this far. Obama should not qualify as a Presidential candidate and should be expelled from his Senatorial seat in the same manner Nixon was.
Hilary Clinton’s attempt to secure answers was looked upon as mere jealousy and not taken further. I would appear that The Democratic Party in favoring Obama unjustly lost her the opportunity to be elected in the Presidential election.

Why has nothing has been said about the Fannie Mae and Freddie Max controversy and the other financial institutions involved which by Congress’s failure to take action as far back as 2005, resulted in the worse financial meltdown over that of the Iraqan War.
The reason for non-passage of legislation which could have minimized the extent of the financial disaster should be investigated and corrective action taken against all those individuals involved, discouraging this form of corruption at the government level. Why were three political figures signaled out to receive favorable contributions from Fannie Mae and Freddie Max (Obama, Kerry and Dodd)! Was this in payment of services previously rendered for stalling legislation and persuading Congress not to take action? Was voter influence used to sway Congress away from voting on the required legislation and look the other way to allow the financial institutions to acquire further wealth from the American people?
How many people remember the Watergate cover up? Well now as far as I see it, we have another form of cover up, the Fannie Mae-Freddie Max cover up! Yet no action is being taken aside from the political parties, together with the public, pointing fingers at each other and appointing President Bush as the scapegoat. If President Nixon was charged for his involvement in Watergate, why do we not take affirmative action against those involved in this financial disaster that has affected our nation and Europe as well? So many individuals were affected and their lives drastically changed. This should not go unpunished.
To avoid further cover up potential, a non-bias political investigation (I hope we have such a thing) should be instituted expediently as possible , as delays could increase the level of falsification or disappearance of documentation, if it hasn’t already. I hope the election process is not used to stall the investigation process.
