We are back to the second session of Barcamp5 with a nice presentation by a lady who was trying to teach girls on how to get into entrepreneurship and how to get into business with ideas and skills requirement for the same, followed by a presentation by a IIIT member who was trying to boost the IIIT Students who came to these sessions. Next at 1Am there was a big presentation by Sanjeev from invivo softwares who was trying to promote their new website Corners.in , a completely new social networking website but which was portrayed as a very famous social networking website. Another Flop site in my view because obviously if you are serious into a business you would first try to update your whois records which currently shows that the website is owned by Invivo Softwares , Anand nagar, Khairatabad, Hyderabad, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and iam very much surprised to find that Hyderabad comes under [Dadra and Nagar Haveli] and has moved from Andhra Pradesh [Source : Whois] Oh yes the big social networking site has a phone number Registrant Phone:+91.12345678 which is another wrong Whois Information posted by the website owners.

I was also surprised to find that a very new website which is hosted on a 4 months old domain has already got adverts from Google Adsense & Axill which would make the new registrants to move away. The presentation was given by Sanjeev Kuman and in my view it was a completely crap promotion of a damn new website. Another reason why not to visit a BarCamp.

Another presentation by a unknown presentor and i was in a hope that the organisers would first introduce these guys and try to help out the guests on the complete meeting issue. Anyway its 2Pm and we are still waiting for another presentation because most of the guests are around the cafetaria and the organisers in some serious meeting on what to do next.

The next session was related to Web2.0 technology and PurpleBytes with a tour and how it works out with the mechanics of sharing by distributing information with other users. The ways to communicate with your customers and the next task i did was checking out purplebytes.com and the homepage had a good design with neat images and navigation, and i tried to check out the service myself at the same time when Shivani was showing a Demo on her Offline computer and the link : purplebytes.com/trynow.html gave me a beautiful 404 Error page , may be these guys were in a hurry to show a demo and forgot to upload some of their pages, though she tried her best to give complete review on the products and services they offer.

Mobile Phone as a Universal Interface : This is the session given by Vishal Garg, M.Haribabu & Niranjan Reddy which offered information on how to use a mobile phone to run home products like Electronic devices, Television Sets, DVD players with advantages being no need of front panels on devices and a universal device to handle all these stuff and linking to 16 mobile phones at a time. There was a live Demo of this product shown by these IIIT students by running a DVD player and a bulb.

The later sessions were attended by around 25 people i guess because others just left away after this with some goodies like T-Shirt etc. My personally suggestion to the organisers would be first to always have a introduction section, reason why these Camps are held, what are they trying to present and interact with the Guests. Anyway not that bad but well i have posted what i felt about this Meet up.
