This Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 supported game is one of the many games revolving around military warfare. The game had been hinted during the launch of Battlefield 2, but came to the market only after 16 months that was on 23rd June 2008 in the U.S. This first person shooter game revolves around a fictional war plot involving the Russian Federation fighting against the United States.

Throughout the game gamers would have to fight out against legionnaire mercenaries, coalition troops from the middle-east and not to mention the Russian fighters. The objective is to guide the dispensable 4 man squad, better known as “Bad Company”, from the 222nd army regiment. These military misfits guide the way for the officials to follow.

The game has a Frostbite game-engine that enables us to destroy almost 90% of the game environment. The game also features dynamic lighting with the change in environment and does not allow few structures to be destroyed for the gaming purpose. Similar to the Battlefield 2142 the ranks awarded to a soldier is significantly lowered and is to be improved as the game proceeds.

Other than the specific soldier class there are number of special military vehicles to be seen such as tanks, armored cars, infantry fighting-vehicles, patrol boats, attack helicopters, and astonishingly golf carts too. All these vehicles are available in both the single as well as multiplayer mode.

Throughout the single player mode special features are discovered but like other various games does not include as a part of the mission. On the other hand the multiplayer game is capable of supporting up to 24 players and may be run on the PC-dedicated servers. Along with these the ranks and awards provided are according to the gamers performance in the particular mission of the game. All in all Battlefields : Bad Company is a great fighting experience.
