Top Slider Phones On The Market
The way phones operate and look are constantly changing. About 5 years ago, everybody was so excited to get a flip phone. Now, they are a thing of the past. The new thing now are the slider phones.
To start off the list of top slider phones, I have to start at number five, the LG Rumor. This phone works in many different ways. When looking at this phone, you may think it’s just the way it is. It has a keypad on the front of the phone with the screen on top. But when you look closer, you can see that it slides out into a full QWERTY keyboard, which makes it easy for texting and instant messaging. Fascinating, yet all of that is overpowered by the flaws. The Rumor is very bad on battery life. After a couple months the battery will start losing it’s will to hold a charge, and the phone will jut shut off on you.
Next on the list at number four is the LG Shine. Unlike the other LG phone on this list, (look above), the Shine is a very durable phone that you can only get on the AT&T network. GPS, Instant Messaging and a trackball-like button which makes it easy to navigate. The Shine slides up into a keypad, which is also good because when you put the phone in your pocket, it will lock and prevent any buttons from being pushed. Very good on battery life, but the sound quality is very dull.
At number three, its the Samsung Lumina. The Lumina has the same build as the Shine, but with better sound and only available on the Sprint network. The Lumina started the good run that Samsung has had with all of their phones, as you will see as the list goes on. The live TV on this phone is the only downfall. Other then that the Lumina is one of Sprint’s best phones. The sliding actions works the same as the Shine, but ranks higher because of the battery life, and better sound quality.
Coming in at number two is the Samsung Rant. The Rant is Samsung’s version of the Rumor, and can be found on the same Sprint Network. The Rant did something differently that the Rumor should of done. Live TV. The Rumor says it has an MP3 player on it, but I don’t think you can call that an MP3 player. On the Rant, you can text easier, e-mail much better and surf the web faster as the QWERTY keyboard is designed much better.
The Number one slider phone on the market is The Samsung Propel! The Behold is the only slider phone that slides up into a full QWERTY keyboard. It is only available on the AT&T network. The QWERTY keyboard look similar to that of the Blackjack II. Like the commercials with Ozzy Osbourne? Well I don’t blame you, because this phone DOES come in a combination of colors. The battery life is fantastic, and the web is oustanding. Told you Samsung has a good run with their phones.
