The way how Samsung Kies, Nokia PC Suite or OVI Suite are all different software’s useful to download or sync media files from your respective devices, the Sony Bloggie Touch HD Camera comes with the Bloggie Software to manage all the media files.
To get started you need to press on the USB Jack to make it come out which you could insert onto your Computers USB Port.
Next once the device is connect the computer try to detect the same and install device drivers to make sure it can be accessed. Press on the ON button on your camera and it would enable it onto the USB Mode > Mass Storage which means that you can use it as a mass storage device too but to a limited amount of space. Below is the Interface Demo of the Bloggie Touch Software offered by Sony along with annotations on what each of the options are useful for.
A New drive would be visible under ‘My Computer’ on the name of ‘Bloggie Software’. Open this and you will get different files. Double click on the Setup_Bloggie.exe file and you will get the following window.
Press on the Install button to begin the installation procedure. Next you will be asked to accept the EULA [End User License Agreement] which can be done by selecting the option of ‘I accept the terms of the license agreement’.
If there is any software update available it would be shown to you and you will be asked if you would like to update the software.
Next the updates would be downloaded onto your computer and then installed along with the main Bloggie Software installation. You will be finally given access to the main screen where all your captures would be clearly shown and options would be displayed on the sidebars.
