Bought Apple Mac book and iPod in India

September 9, 2007 by Amit Bhawani

Bangalore has many good shopping malls which includes the shoppers stop and The Forum where i went for a shop after missing my flight from bangalore the last day via air deccan and resheduled my journey for today. At The Forum i found a exclusive Apple Store which is said be the only single apple store in India and i came to see the amazing Apple Imac, Mac book , mac book pro, ipods and lots more boys toys and within minutes selected a mac book and a ipod shuffle and made the payment, the best thing of apple was the Mac Operating system preinstalled and the amazing options in the mac book which makes it 100 times better, faster and amazing than the windows operating system and looks of the apple mac book makes it the best designed lap top in the industry.

Now iam confused what to do with my 8 months old Sony vaio laptop which seems to be a boring laptop when compared to the mac os powered macbook. A wireless mouse which offers another relief if you are not good at using the touch pad on the mac book and the in built mini camera which offers excellent views when broadcasting the video. The only problem with Mac book is that many of the web applications and softwares dont install on this mac book.

Apple MacbookIpod shuffle

Here are some Apple Mac Book Models

Wait for the announcement around 15th Jan 2008.

It’s stupid, misguided, semi-illiterate people like ‘tradeep’ that actually reinforce the superiority of Mac. If he’s typical of PC users — then I want to stay a million miles away from that platform!

p.s. Congrats on buying your Mac and breaking free from the tentacles of M$

He unwittingly plays a very important evolutionary role in the huge swing towards Mac’s. Just as a Rolls-Royce or Ferrari wouldn’t be so special unless there were also unfortunates who drive cheap, crappy cars, a Mac wouldn’t be so stunning without the ‘tradeeps’ of this world and their crappy PC’s for us to laugh at!

    hi
apple mac is beautiful, powerful no doubt etc etc but that dosen`t prove that its better than windows. the only thing it proves that u all r computer illiterate or windows illiterate.ever wondered what percentage of windows u use!. u guys just don`t have the knowledge to harness even 10 percent of windows. i guess the only thing u guys know is watching movies, converting files and surfing the internet. First of all, its an disgrace to c people like u show nakedly their wealth.u have countrymen who cant even buy 2 times food and people like u are not satisfied with such 2 expensive machines!

People like u showing nakedly their wealth r bunch of craps. U r nothing but like a confused desi who r slanged in west as coconuts.they think they white from inside but r brown on outside.

donate ur money to the poor. u will get 1 thing which ur money cant buy. its blessings. be a human being and not another money towing marwari who r hated through the globe for this attitude.

I have loaded Vista in my macbook and made it the default OS. The laptop has preinstalled Mac OS. Now, I am getting the message that new updates are being loaded and after a little while a message comes saying that 93% is loaded and do not switch off. It gets hung at this point. Even after switching off and restarting, the same messgaae is shown. I am unable to use the laptop. I do not mind erasing the hard disk, if it is going to help me in using the laptop again. There is no help coming forward from Hyderabad where I live.

Is there a solution, short of abandoning the laptop.
