@nanda
I completely agree with you. You can take the device to almost any place in India b'coz you know BSNL has got connectivity almost everywhere. But there's a catch: you need to get your EVDO data card activated for roaming before moving out to another city/location else it is not going to work. I've been using this device in Chennai for more than 5 months in Taramani area and I'm pretty much satisfied with the speed I was getting even if that area didn't have good EVDO support. Now I moved to Bangalore and its not working though I'm getting EVDO signals. Before moving to Bangalore I went to the BSNL CSC at Guindy [to actually surrender the devide]and they told me you take to anywhere with coverage by BSNl and it will definitely work, but to my surprise its not the case. It'll work definitely but you need to get it activated[which you can do yourself, btw, but if you piss-off you'll be in big trouble]. So make sure you guys get it activated for roaming before moving to another city.
I'm still for my device to start working, Tried calling the customer care numbers at Guindy but no one picked the phone. Stuck at this for around a week. Hope it will be fixed soon.

Apart from that I'm pretty much satisfied with the service.
But some news are making rounds in the internet that they are going to stop the Unlimited download/upload service may be in a couple of months. So first confirm before doing an outright purchase for the device. Thank you.

I am suffering from BSNL Landline ADSL Broadband reliability and extremely poor customer service. So I am looking for a standby broadband connectivity. I travel inter-state so considered Reliance Data Card 3.1mbps. But mouthshut reviews are very bad for both Reliance and Tata Indicom. But now looks like BSNL is very poor too. I am really confused :(
