Busy on Weekdays? Schedule your blog posts now

Published by Amit Bhawani on November 7, 2007 – 12:16 pm9 Comments

There are many bloggers or website owners who are not working online full time , since they are employed in some companies offline and they get time to post only on weekdays. This was all their blogs look dead because updating only on weekdays or holidays gives the blogs a complete dead look. The same situation comes to a online full time blogger who gets busy on times of emergency and cannot update his blog.

Edit Time StampSearch engines love your web blogs if they are regularly updated, which means a post a day makes search engines regularly visit your website rather than a blog which is updated with 7 posts on a week day because that kind of posts will attract search engines once a week only and give them a idea that this is not a regularly updated fresh content blog.

The Solution for this is to schedule posts and this can be done using a very simple trick rather than many other available wordpress plugins like Scheduled Post Shift Plugin for WordPress. The solution is simple just write the post normally and click on the Edit timestamp option and change the date to any future date you want to get the post publish and you are done.

This way the post is published and will be pinged and shown to all your visitors when the time comes, which says you can schedule all your posts in wordpress to any future day or time. The wordpress pinging feature automatically pings to all the wordpress ping list websites.

PS : This post was scheduled 3days back to be published :D , check out the below preview of one of my site where my staff has scheduled the posts on future dates.
