Amazon is generally famous as a place where you can buy/sell books online, similarly to ebay.com which is famous for selling home good like appliances, apparel etc. But if you are looking for companies where you can buy books which can be shipping to countries like India you need to give a extensive search. Here is my review on one of the best online book store which i have personally used and was recommended by my friends.

FLipKart.com - A Excellent Online Book Store which tracks down all your latest searches for books using your cookies and keeps a record of the same. This can be helpful at times when you were searching for some books and forgot the name and visit back the website to buy. I recently ordered 7 books in 2 different orders and within minutes i recieved a order confirmation with the order details via their payment processor which is CC Avenue. Within 24 hours i got a email saying one of my order was shipped - We are pleased to inform you that we have shipped your items, and that this completes your order. You will receive your complete order in 2-3 working days. To my surprise the second order is complete missing now and i have sent them a contact form email with my second order’s shipment/confirmation.

The Next thing i did was to check out my email for any shipment emails which would have been moved to Spam/Thrash but nothing there, check out the following screenshot for details of my order’s and payment processor’s confirmation. The total of 5 emails consist of 2 emails for Order with FlipKart.com Confirmation, 2 emails for Order payment confirmation with CCAvenue and the 5th email is the shipment details of 1 order, the other one missing now.

It was time to check out my account in the FlipKart.com user account panel and i was surprised to see some of these messages - No details found for Order No: OD0916179225. Click here to view all your previous orders.

This is surprising because one of the best book stores online are giving their customers this kind of experiance with missing order details, no shipments made after confirmations made and no reply to the support emails. May be Amazon should enter into the Indian Markets and start shipping the books. How is your experiance with FlipKart and which book stores do you generally recommend for buying books?

Update for FlipKart - I did recieve a call from the flipkart team regarding this post, and also both the orders were finally completed. I would recommend flipkart to everyone of you based on a nice experiance.
