The Canon PowerShot is the upgraded version of the very popular Powershot A95 .

The essential features of this Camera incorporates:

The 7.1 Megapixel A620 ($399), along with its 5.0 Megapixel sibling,4X optical zoom lens (versus 3X on the A95) ,Larger rotating LCD display (2.0″ versus 1.8″),DIGIC II image processor ,Improved movie options and a continuous shooting modes, SD/MMC cards instead of Compact Flash,25% better battery life and USB 2.0 High Speed support systems.

The box of the PowerShot A620 consists of : The 7.1 effective Megapixel Canon PowerShot A620camera ,32MB Secure Digital memory card,4 alkaline AA batteries ,Wrist strap, USB cable, A/V cable, Arc Soft Photo Studio, and drivers apart from a 24 page basic manual and 137 page advanced manual plus software and direct print manuals, all in printed versions are also given.

There’s a built-in lens cover on the A620 and it supports more accessories than most cameras in this class. The remote capture feature in the Browser software enables us to control theA620 right from our Mac or PC. Canon’s external slave flash can be attached via the tripod mount. This external flash provides more flash power and less redeye than the built-in flash and thus ensures better picture quality. The AF-assist lamp, which helps the camera focus in low light conditions ensures that even in low light conditions you have good pictures. PowerShot features a flip-out, rotating LCD display. In conclusion it can be said that, thePowerShot A620 is very easy to use . It is a midsized camera that is made of a mix of plastic and metal where there is no compromise in its quality structure. It is very handy, as it can be operated using one hand only and effective too.
