Social bookmarking is defined as a way which helps in getting the Internet users a nice way of traffic and which also helps in saving their web pages in those sites. In some of the social bookmarking sites there is competition of sites to come to the top which depends on how much users like your web page. And in other sites, it just helps in providing people with any new article through feeds. And most of these bookmarking sites allow the users to save their web links in the way of keywords which when a person when searches in the sites, can easily find the best resources.

Here i share the 5 most popular and highest traffic producing social bookmarking sites -

Current alexa rank is 91, and it shows up bookmarked sites according to their popularity and the no. of votes in an average number of time period. In sites like this, people can expect traffic of thousands in just a short span of time. But remember, people must like the thing you are bookmarking/submitting! And yes, with experience i say it helps any of your new page to get indexed well!

It is a PR9 site having current alexa rank of 526, which also has the same mechanism as Digg, but has more general type of channels, covering everything from books, autos, real estate, health and many more topics. The latest news is most available and is one of my favorite bookmarking sites.

Technorati is a blog search engine and the best blog search and bookmark site. It automatically gets updated content from feeds of blogs, and then refer the visitors to the blogs which are relevant to the search of the people. Once a blog is claimed, technorati helps to get the blog the best unique traffic. The more a blog is updated, the better number of visitors it gets, and technorati has a special type of blog ranking called Authority, which relies on the no. of other blogs linking to a particular blog.

del.icio.us which says in its site -» all your bookmarks in one place! People join it and bookmark their site or any other site which they like, and place Tags for the bookmark. Tag is the thing explaining a bookmark, and sites are searched and listed based on the tags used. And if a very interesting site of yours is bookmarked by many members, it can reached the home page of del.icio.us and as previously said, it helps in getting huge load of traffic in a very small time.

Stumbleupon is a site which acts as an add on in the web browsers such as Mozilla firefox, and people refer the site about some of the interesting web pages they find and then just a click by any other browser opens a random page. So, the more people referring your page, the more traffic you get and these are all the unique visitors counted. Just click on “I like it!” and you get the site stumbled!

There is always a chance that you will forget the website you visited a hour back and which is the reason the browsers are integrated with a bookmarks feature, which help you to bookmark the website, so you can visit them later anytime, but what is the case when you are on a public computer or a computer which is shared with others?

Here comes the scenario where in you can use the online social bookmarking websites like del.icio.us etc which bookmark your websites and are saved in your person accounts which other members can also view. The more a website is bookmarked , the more better ranking/authority it gets in the eyes of the search engine because they think that this website is more important.

Here is a big list of Social bookmarking websites which can help you to bookmark all your favourite websites which i have found from weloghits.com. Stock images are the images which can be used for your personal use for free and you dont need to pay any royalty fees for using these images. Royalty fee is a licence for stock photos which provides the images for use in any type of media for free.

1	Title: Stock Exchange Description: Stock Exchange is one of the biggest if not the biggest free stock photos archive with over 252 000 free stock images. The license of each image is determined by the creator and therefore it is advised that you check the usage permissions below each image. Stock.XCHNG was launched in February 2001, as an alternative for expensive stock photography. The idea was to create a site where creative people could exchange their photos for inspiration or work. In about two years the site evolved into this massive community you see now – there are over 1.000.000 registered users and more than 250.000 photos online!
2	Title: MorgueFile Description: MorgueFile is probably the largest free stock photos archive of images that can be used for commercial projects. The idea to build the web’s morguefile was conceived by Michael Connors as a college student in 1996. It is currently a collaborative effort between brothers Kevin and Michael Connors who own and maintain the world wide web’s morguefile. This site is dedicated to the Connors family. Dorothy, Dennis and Jean Marie Connors who are deceased. QOS : Its the level of consistency in your download capacity by the broadband service provider. The packets carry the data using Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) with each packet being generally of 1000-1500 bytes size. 10 Tips to Make Windows XP Run Faster

When Windows XP was launched, there were a lot of reliability and sometimes stability issues. With the launch of Service pack 2 Windows XP became a legend and Service Pack 3 has further bolstered its prominence.

Not all is well with this operating system; you would have noticed that when you initially bought this operating system it was much faster, in due course it would have become slower. The main problem is unwanted registry accumulation and fragmentation. Let us look into the ten tips which would always keep your XP fit and healthy.

Tip 1:
One of the biggest nuisances is windows startup time. When you install some new programs, they themselves change the registry and when windows load after you switch it on, they too get loaded. You can notice that when you switch on your windows after every re-start. These programs are unnecessary to be loaded at start-up. And they increase the start-up time of windows. Click the Start button, go to Run, Type msconfig, go to startup and disable all the unnecessary programs. Restart and you would notice a marked rise in the windows startup time.

Tip 2:
Windows take a lot of time when you use the resource hungry XP menu, Right click the start button and go to properties. In properties, go to start menu and switch to the classic menu. You can see a faster response time.

Tip 3:
When you want to remove any unwanted programs, you would click the Add/Remove icon in the control panel. You need to wait for a lengthy period of time as it is the most annoying feature of XP. Get a tool like cleaner, it is free and you can easily remove the unwanted programs.

Tip 4:
When you uninstall a program, not every file associated with it gets uninstalled. One of the best known culprits is the registry entry. Your registry gets bloated in course of time. A trim registry would give you a healthy XP. Try Uniblue registry cleaner, it is worth buying as it creases the reliability of your PC.

Tip 5:
Sometimes, you would want to terminate a program and you would have pressed the Ctrl-Alt-Del buttons simultaneously. You would click Task Manager and in it, you will click processes and end the unwanted program. But the response time would be slow. A registry tweak is vital. Go to Run, type Regedit.exe and go to this location HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\ and change this time to kill value to 1000.

Tip 6:
Go to control panel, click system icon and go to the advanced option. In performance option, change the visual effects to best performance. You will notice a marked level in the performance of the system.

Tip 7:
Windows XP by default searches for network folders and printers when you click My Computer. No wonder it loads slowly. Go to Tools, click Folder Options and in view uncheck ‘Automatically search for network folders and printers”

Tip 8:
Go to Run. Type prefetch, a window would open. Select everything in the window and delete it. Windows has this nasty habit of saving all the programs opened and it uses the prefetch option to load it again faster. But it slows down the system. Use it frequently to improve your system performance.

Tip 9:
Defragment your system at regular intervals. Use IObit smart defragmenter, it is a freeware and improves your system performance.

Tip 10:
Get a better browser like Firefox or Opera. As the fate of a browser and operating system are coupled. A weak browser like IE would definitely hurt your XP. Moreover, more hackers target IE. Be on the safer side, by opting for a browser other than IE.
