Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) is a chief and basic protocol used in Internet connection, which offers end-to-end reliability. This protocol resides on Transport layer of Open System Interconnection (OSI). It is a connection-oriented protocol used as a communication protocol for private IP networks. TCP works with two layers plan – Higher Layers and Lower Layers. A higher layer handles collecting of file into smaller packets, which are further transmitted over IP and send to TCP that arranges the packets into to actual file. On the other hand Lower Layer handles address part and verifies the right destination for it. Two IP network nodes can converse with each other by using TCP and they are as well capable of creating connection. Even the error correction and detection between source and destination are taken care by TCP mechanism.

TCP is an ongoing active process and does not actually just happen. It sets a constant communication between Internet servers and your personal computer. When you try to launch Internet connection, TCP sends a series of signals to Internet servers that provide connection. Protocols associated to TCP/IP comprise User Datagram Protocol (UDP) that is made use in place of TCP for exclusive purposes. Other protocols are used for exchanging router in Network hosts of computer. These may comprise Internet Control Message Protocol (ICMP), the Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP), the Exterior Gateway Protocol (EGP), and the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Now a day every IP network cable depends up on TCP/IP as it considered being as most excellent.

It is obvious that the important of World Wide Web is augmenting day by day. So each day it becomes necessary to have redundant communication and storage network for effective business and stability. This is where Internet Backbone comes in role; it helps to evolve the boosting requirement of world economy and communication of users. Internet backbone is nothing but a collection of several networks, routing facilities and servers to offer multiple redundancy that keeps information online accessible and safe. It is other wise recognized as the chief “trunk” connections of the Internet. When spoken in the wider term, it is an outcome of group of interconnected commercial, academic, government and other high-loaded data routes and core routers assist to carry information globally.

Internet backbone comprises of several differing networks and generally offers connection facilities. Internet Services Provider (ISP) is usually equipped with its own contingency backbone network and these networks are interlinked to offer multi-faceted backup redundancy keeping the whole web. For example, an ISP might offer services for only one town and connects to a local provider, which carries several local ISPs as clients. Further these local provider will have one backbone networks so that it nationwide connection is offered. It is always good to have multiple Internet backbone to get redundancy of your web and this would in turn enhance your web page. At the same time it is as well important for any commerce to have a track of what Internet backbone your hosting center is using and how far these are scalable. It would just require a little research to find out this for long lasting network connection.

BGA is also known as Ball grid Array. The way in which a chip is attached to a socket or circuit board gives air to this name of Ball grid Array. A chip package having solder balls on the underside for mounting is a ball Grid Array. It allows for a reduction in die package size. Further, it allows better heat dissipation, and greater module densities, Chip-Scale Package (CSP) – thin chip packaging where electrical connections are typically through a ball grid array. A SMD package in which solder ball interconnects cover the bottom surface of the package is also known as Ball Grid Array.

It is a type of memory chip (package type) that is directly mounted to the module by solder balls which are found on the underside of the chip. It is an IC package with solder balls that are arranged in a grid pattern and act as the input/output points. Further, it is an integrated circuit surface mount package with an area array of solder balls that are attached to the bottom side of a substrate with routing layers. The die is joined to the substrate by making use of die and wire bonding or flip-chip interconnection. It is given the name of Ball Grid Array because it is basically an array of metal alloy balls arranged in a grid. A BGA package simply looks like a thin wafer of semi-conducting material that has circuit components on only one face.

The Transport layer is the fourth layer in Open System Interconnection (OSI) communications model; works to makes client-server tools a reality. Transport layer resides in between Network layer and Session layer TCP/IP protocol stack. This is other wise recognized as an architecture model between Internet layer and Application layer. This layer has two primary protocols, Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) and User Data gram protocol (UDP). The job Transform layer is to make sure the consistent arrival of messages and offers the facility of error evaluation (end-to-end recovery) means and data flow controls. Its services are offered to both connection-mode and connectionless-mode transmissions and play a very important role when it comes to delivering messages among different networked hosts.

Transport layer is the one that takes the decision as how to use the network layer so that virtual error-free connection is been sent from host A to host B and the messages are arrived with out any error and remains in sequence. Further Transmission Control Protocol can as well be mapped to the Transport layer and it is an example of the same. This layer is capable of establishing and dissolving connection among hosts. It offers transparent data transfer, which in turn helps to hide details of any network-reliant from any higher layers. Unlike other layer transport layer is not concerned up with process-to-process transfer rather it concentrates on machine-to-machine transfer. It splits up data into smaller packets send off those packets and at the receivers end reassembles the data in the apt order.

The first question which comes when we talk about web directories is that ‘What is a Web Directory?’. Now lets discuss about the answer with a quick and easy example which can help you out in understanding this in a better way. You would have heard about local yellow pages in which your local offline business would be listed with your business name, business profile & contact details under the most relevant category and location area, this way if someone is searching for a businessman he would open the yellow pages and go to the specific category under their choice of location and find all the contact details, this is the similar way web directories work. The web directories are directories of websites which are run and developed in order to help out their visitors in finding the best websites under the most relevant category. We can also say that these web directories are useful in organising the world wide web(www).

There are several benefits of web directories. One of these would be finding the most important and valuable websites which are human edited, reviewed and then listed in the web directories most relevant category. There are several web directories like Dmoz.org, dir.yahoo.com which are human edited and are really useful for finding the best websites. Most of these web directories now charge a submissions/review fees and you need to make some payment in order to get reviewed and if the web directory editor likes your website/blog they would list it on their directory based on their submission guidelines.

From the past 3-4 years the number of new web directories had increased a lot and this was because most webmasters started monetising this sector seriously and tried to gain the most money out of selling listings in web directories because the listings not only help out the website owners in gaining backlinks but also help them out in gaining backlinks, page rank & search engine rankings. Which google didnt like recently and has started a campaign of removing toolbar page rank of all the websites & web directories who are selling listings/links. Since these backlinks from web directories are search engine friendly and are helpful as off page search engine optimization factor, all the listed websites gain better SERPS and this is what Google didnt like because they recommend using adwords[paid ppc advertising] and not buying links from other websites/directories.

I would personally say there is nothing wrong in getting listed in web directories but the main factor would be getting listed in directories which are really useful by pushing in some real visitors to the website owners. There are thousands of web directories but make sure you submit to the directories which are real and are regularly updated with listings, content, news or any relevant stuff, rather than getting listed into link farms or link exchange webdirectories. Never get listed into link exchange directories or websites which are completely made just for link exchange and dont offer any use to any real visitors. A Web directory is known to be perfect if a category in their directory lets say > webdirectory.com/health/acne has information on acne and has listed the best acne websites and does not approve any MFA[made for adsense] or redirecting website, this is when human editing work comes in picture.

There is a lot of future in developing a web directory but you need to have a serious plan to develop it and manage the whole editorial, setup team. When paid web directories like BOTW.org, dir.yahoo.com can exist and keep expanding why not your own directory? Just try to reach the level of BOTW within a 3 years time frame and every thing is possible. My personal recommendations would be to create the maximum amount of web directory categories, no problem how much deep they are and then interlink the most relevant ones. Adding a introduction of each of these categories and then listing a minimum of 3-5 websites in each category which would solve the purpose to the real visitors when they come to your directory in search. Once the setup is completed you need to promote the webdirectory using pay per click advertising like adwords, msn adcenter, yahoo sponsored ads , classified ads, local newspaper advertising etc all at once to create a buzz and a brand.

If you are developing a web directory which is really useful for the visitors and not for the bots then you dont need to worry about google or its ban, because you are offering the information which visitors need and this solves the purpose. The listing fees is not just the option to monetise from your web directory, the other forms would be pay per click ads like adsense, ypn, bidvertiser, clicksor, adbrite etc, banner sales based on the click thoughs, local business advertising, leads sales etc These different monetizing ideas would help you to make the most revenue in order to invest back in advertising and creating a brand. Never try to quickly make money from serious projects and go on a projected plan with the expenditure and income plans and the time required to fulfil them.

If you work across numerous computers which are wired up i.e. connected with each other, the first thing you will try would be the external drive or a quality USB for storing and carrying all your Office Files and Documents, Personal Photos, Multimedia files and the Photoshop drawings.

Now try to think of a situation in which you will have all the required data on your USB drive, but the PC which you are currently using does not possess any of the basic software you need to edit or view those files. The computer which you are using currently does not have simple applications like, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Photoshop. So you will have no use of working on that computer. You can’t also spend the time relaxing as the PC also doesn’t contain even the Windows Media Player or any other music player.

How to Solve This Problem?
The only way to solve this problem is converting this PC environment into something just like your own PC. Mojopac created by Ringcube is an extremely effective tool, which will clone your current PC environment into a USB drive. And if you have an iPod or a USB based cell phone or Digital Camera, The Mojopac will also work fine on your iPod or the USB based mobile phone. In such cases you will have to carry no extra device with you.

How to Clone your Computer?
First you will have to connect your USB drive with the main PC having all the stuffs you want to have when you work. Then install the Mojopac software onto it. You will then find a new environment of Windows XP having no software. Now you will have to install all applications, which you want to carry with you including Games and Music. All these software are not installed into your computer, but into the USB drive.

If you have finished your installation, you can eject that USB drive. Now plug it into any other Windows computer. You can run off all those programs in any other PC environment. Mojopac will even save the software preferences and application settings as you will move around different computers.

The Mojopac software uses resources from the host computer and runs completely on USB drive with no modification over the host. Thus the clone of your computer is made using the USB drive and the Mojopac Software.

So are you interested in discovering the best Hindi Transliteration software? But before doing the same, you should have a clear picture about what transliteration is. Transliteration is a method by which you will get a total language solution by typing as you are pronouncing. With the benefit of this type of software, you can easily type the foreign language without even memorizing it using your regular keyboard.

Although it is difficult to spot something specific that meets the standard for the best Hindi transliteration software, it is better to make you accustomed with a couple of transliteration software. For example, Kickkey is popular transliteration software on the web. It enables its users to map keys according to their preference. Not only that, it also integrates its application to different window-based applications such as word pad, outlook, Microsoft word, yahoo messenger, power point, excel, front page and so on.

If you would like to download Kickkeys transliteration software and try it, please go to http://www.kickkeys.com/ and click on the Download button as highlighted in the above picture. Once downloaded, follow few simple instructions to install it in your system.

Good web-based Hindi transliteration software is presented by Illinois Institute of Technology website. It is in the extended domain of the university website. I find it as good software especially for those who become utterly confused in remembering the key patterns of Hindi keyboard. You can not download it and you have to have internet connection to use this software, since it is fully optimized for internet use only. Visit http://www.iit.edu/~laksvij/language/hindi.html to have a clear picture.

You can also check software presented by ashishware.com. This has an online demo version that makes the user accustomed with its features. It is very simple to use and it needs only a few keyboard strokes to get the desired results. Sounds interesting? Then go to http://demo.vishalon.net/HindiTypePad.htm to check the demo and then go to http://ashishware.com/Transl.shtml to have the details. Lets have a look on the demo version as follows.

So, with the help of this article you become able to explore few interesting fact about transliteration software that will definitely help you to get Hindi letters even without bothering about buying a Hindi keyboard or optimizing your existing keyboard for Hindi language. Although there are plenty others available on the Internet, these three are popular among the general users due to their flexibility and use-friendly features.

Is a process of transferring data from one computer to another through a network. We may call internet as an example of this. It is actually the exchanging and manipulating files and data over a computer network based on TCP. As FTP is independent of the involving operating systems its is supposed to be the most desired option for exchanging files having lots of clients and server programs available. It works exclusively over TCP and its servers by defaults listen on port 21 for incoming connections for FTP clients. The out-of-band-control by FTP means that a separate connection is used by it for the control and data. So data stream (a different connection) will be needed for the actual file transferring to take place.

There is changed process of setting up the data stream when it comes to depend on the transfer mode. The FTP client uses dynamic port while being in the active mode and sends the dynamic port number to the FTP server on which it listens over the control stream and waits to be connected by the FTP server. After initiating the data connection to the FTP client it binds the source port to port 20 on the FTP server. The client sends a port command, IP, and port as an argument for using the active mode.

The format for the IP and the port is as under “.H1, H2, H3, H4, P1, and P2”. Each of these fields is actually the decimal representation of 8bites of the host IP and the port of the chosen data follows it. While using the passive mode the command PASV is sent by the client. The reply from the server would be something similar to 227 entering passive mode (127, 0, 0, 1, 192, and 52). The IP and the port’s syntax will be the very same for the argument to the port command. The work difference of the FTP server and the passive mode only appears when it transmits the port number and the client assumes that it connects to the very IP address that was really connected to. RFC 2428 added the extended passive mode in september1998. Here are some of the fundamental objectives of the FTP.

1. For the promotion of sharing of files, data and computer programs.
2. It encourages the indirect and the implicit use of the remote computer.
3. It shields the users from the variations of files storages particularly when there are different hosts.
4. The transferring of the done more reliably and efficiently with the help of FTP

HD DVD or High Definition Digital Versatile Disc is an optical disc of high density. The fundamental objective is the storage of data and the high definition video. The disc was primarily designed by Toshiba and was brought up to the DVD standard.

Toshiba however denied manufacturing the DVD HD player for any longer in February 2008. Let us take a look on some of the details regarding the HD DVD. The encoding of HD DVD are VC-1, H-264 and MPEG-2. HD DVD does have the capacity of 15 GB in single layers and 30 GB in dual layers. The disc developed by DVD forum has the reading mechanism of 1*36 M/bites and 2*72M/bites.

It is derived from the technologies same as underlying DVD. Having the maximum capacity of 15 GB per layer (the blue layers are employed to store data by nearly all the variants) it has the 3 ¼ times much storing efficient then the formers. This makes us remember the competition of VHS and Bet Amax wars during late 1970s and early 1980s. It had a format war with Blue Ray Disc to determine the more efficient for carrying the higher for carrying the higher definition content to the consumers.

Earlier in 2008 the high definition optical disc war came to an end when Toshiba withdrew the format manufacturing. That also allowed its rival, the Blue ray to acquire the dominant position for high definition video discs.

The promotion group dissolved on March 28, 2008. The entrance of the commercial HDTV sets in a larger market began in mid 1990s. However the recording or playing back of the HD content was too expensive. The storage medium that could store the data was also not very cheap. Only JVC, s VHS and Sony’s HDCAM were there to serve.

When the Blue Lasers Diodes were invented by Shuji Nakamura. Even though the commercial introduction was delayed by a lengthy patent lawsuit.

UDO and DVR Blue together with Pioneer were the two projects applied by Sony a format of re-writable discs which had to become BD_RE. The nine initial members founded Blue ray disc association as it was announced as Blue ray in February 2008. Initially the avoiding of the mishandling of the consumers required a protective caddy. The prototype caddy was expensive as well as physically different from DVD. That assisted Toshiba and NEC to announce their competing standard advanced optical disc in August which was finally adopted by the DVD forum and renamed as HD DVD next year.

It is also called site names at times. It is a different named given in which a device attached to network is known on that network. The device could consist of network storage device, file server, cable modem, copier, fax machine etc. it is used to identify a specific host in different shapes of electronic communication. For example e-mail, Usenet or World Wide Web. There is an interchangeable use of the terms “hostnames” and domain name” but there are few differences as far as the technicality of both is concerned.

NIS, DNS and SNB are the various system that use hostnames.

So every naming system has its own meaning of the term “hostname” or it varies according to the system it is concerned. A hostname will be an invalid internet hostname if it is meaningful to Microsoft NetBIOS workgroup. In normal it will be a safe assumption that an internet is the network and the host naming system is DNS when the hostname is presented with no context.

There is a typical use of hostnames in an administrative capacity and you will get the hostnames in their computer browsers lists, active directory lists. IP addresses to hostnames resolution and e-mail headers etc. they are the nick name that are readable for human beings that can immediately correspond to MAC addresses.

Sometimes there are non dotted IP addresses, embeded domain names and locations in the hostnames. Hostname is normally just a single word for a simple local area network. CVS server of an organization will be named “cvs” generally. Talking about the hostname of internet, it is a domain name that is assigned to a host computer. Both the hosts local name along with the present domain name altogether make the hostname. A single host computer may have plenty of host names but normally its operating system likes to have one host names for the personnel use of host. There are some terms and restriction on the validity of the hostnames. They are consisted of series of labels and every label is separated by dots. The length capacity for each label is 1 to 63 characters and once all the labels are combined the limit of character at maximum 255. The hostnames label can be made from “a” to “z” and the digits involved in the can be from 0 to 9. The hostnames labels cannot be started nor can they be ended with a hyphen.
