Orkut is one of the Social Networking Site which is run by Google Inc. And this has been named by its creator Orkut Buyukkokten an employee of Google. Like many other Social Networking Site you can search for your friends keep in touch of them and can share videos and lots of other thing. You can not only bee in touch of them but can also talk with others or can interact with them by making a Community on Orkut.

Anyone who has a profile created on Orkut can create their own Community in Orkut and can make others to join them. With these community you can share your views and can talk on many of the topics which will arise on them and thus it proves to be a good knowledge source. Now the basic thing is that how to create a community of your own on your Orkut profile. There are a few steps which you have to follow in order to create your Orkut Community.

Here are the listed steps which you have to follow.

Step1 – First of all login to your Orkut account. At the top of your Home page of your main account you will see the link to Communities, just go through the link. Below is the screenshot where you can find the link to the Communities.

Step2 – After going thorough it the next page will list you the number of communities of which you are a member. At the extreme right of this page you can see a Search box where you can search of any Communities. To the bottom of it you can see a Create button. Just click on this button to create a new community owned by it. Here is the screenshot of this step.

Step3 – Next after filling the Spam Test box you are directed where you just have to fill up some forms and its over. You have to provide a unique Community name and category for which you are going to create. Now there are three types of community you can create. Take extra care to fill up this as this will decide if you want your community to be viewed by the anyone in Orkut or you want to moderate it or you want to validate it via email. Next you will have the Content Privacy and Community Content Safety buttons. Choose the appropriate one of your desire. Go on completing the form and click on Create Community to create your own community.
