Not only are their services extremely bad, customer cares rubbish. They also harrass and threaten you to make payments withour providing services. They have even theatened me to take me to court if i dont pay their bills/ PAY FOR NO SERVICES !!!
 I took the TATA INDICOM connection under a scheme with ACER LAPTOP andsince that day my misery started. The gave conection but no services. When i told them to disconnect. I have to Use MINIMUM FOR 3 Months and PAY even if i dont use the services
So friends. PLEASE think 100 times before even thinking of TATA INDICOM&gt; THE WORST.</description>

		<description>Before taking up a ISP I decided to have a look at the broadband forums to find the various ISP in Pune 

I took up the TATA Indicom ( wired ) broadband services in Pune. Now it seems all the stories are coming true to me.. 

I paid hard cash so that they wouldn&#039;t need to clear the money through cheque.. The guy from tata broadband who collected the 

registration forms told me they require 5 days to install the Cable line.

Even after 25 days they have not yet installed the broadband. I paid them Installation ( 1000 Rs) + Deposit ( 1000 Rs ) + 1 

months advance payment 1000 Rs + 12.5 servie Tax ( 250 Rs to the Blood  and sweat sucking Govt from which Of course there is 

nothing that I or we can expect ) . The total amount came to 3250 Rs ..

I called the service guy many a times.every time he would say that an engineer is being sent say around 3:30 PM .. then from 

3:30 PM I would find his cell phone off till the next day ..

The month is about to be over for which I have already paid the advance payment..So it seems that my 1000 Rs advance payment 

has already gone down the dirty TATA drain as I have to still go into Cybercafe for internet

I am planning to cut off the broadband connection as soon as it is installed. My money and time both are lost.. if YOU 

wouldn&#039;t like to waste your time and send money down the dirty drain don&#039;t never ever install TATA BROADBAND.


Characteristics of the TATA Broadband services : 

1.) If the TATA guys comes and tries to get cheque / money from you in a hurriedly ( hasty ) manner agreeing to everything 

you say then he is planning to screw you up your ass at any cost.


2.) He would tell you that he would install the Cable on the 5 day then he means that install it on the 25th day or 

thereafter.. Some smarty tata guy would tell they would install the next day or as soon as possible .. all these means the 

same.

3.) You would ring him on his cell phone . he would readily pick up the phone addressing you as Sir or Madam and would tell 

you that he is sending the guy at 4:30 PM  .. It means that you would find his cell phone from that time till infinity 

4.) every time you would ask about the status of your connection. They will make excuses that they have lot many connections 

to install.

5.) You might not get the Service or the broadband .. but these beggars will send the bill on time, that is for sure</description>

		<description>My wireless broadband connection was installed on 17th Feb 2009. AND I HAVE NOT BROWSED CONTINOUSLY FOR MORE THAN 20 MINS SINCE THEN. THERE IS A FREQUENT DISCONNECTTION PROBELM WITH MY CONNECTION. I logged complaint many times but there were no actions taken.

I paid Rs 2124/- to install the connection and now the worst part is that &quot;My account&quot; is showing Rs 1268/- amount as outstanding balance.

Bill was generated on 21st Feb 09. In just four days they charged me 1268/- amount again.

		<description>Yes Tata Indicom is the worst of all telephone services, I think every one who is still using there services should look for other options. I feel Vodaphone is the best of service followed byReliance and Airtel. However it is still personal choice. 
I had a landline and mobile phone connection. I suggest to all the reader and buyer to take your decision carefully. Tata telephone services is just a big flop and they are cons. They force you to keep the connections. One more thing I will like to say all the reader,alway buy a telephone which does not belong to these companies, rather buy these from companies shop directly. Most phone companies support all the cdma and gsm both, however if you have bought the phone separately you will easily move from one telephone service provide to another.

My internet has been down for 8 days - and they arent even willing to call me back or to connect me to their supervisors.  This is the 21st century, but in a country like India it is really unfortunate that thanks to companies like Tata our quality levels suck.  Maybe instead of getting into everything from cars to communication, Tata should learn to do one thing well.  But that would be too much to ask.  Don&#039;t ever support Tata.</description>

This company is a disgrace to India &#8211; since they purport to be the commercial face of the nation. I had bought a TATA Indicom USB modem [Sim card #: A000000A58E1FB (80 B2 80 77)] on Aug. 6, 2008, and was promised activation within 4 days which never happened.  Even after 15 days and making repeated calls to the salesperson, I did not get the activation done.  So I decided to cancel the service and applied for cancellation (#901214165) at their office in Kormangala, Bangalore.  I promptly returned the USB modem and was told that I would be getting the refund of the deposit amount (Rs. 700 only) after 45 days of cancellation, at my postal address.  Now, it is 3 months and I still do not know what happened to that money.

An employee of TATA Indicom in Kormangala, Bangalore office, had promised me that he would get it done asap.  But when I tried to contact him thro&#039; SMS or phone calls, he neither replied nor answered my phone calls.  I suspect that the money would have disappeared into that employee&#039;s pocket already.

If anyone is considering to avail TATA Indicom&#039;s services (especially telecom), PLEASE reconsider if you value your time and hard-earned money.</description>
