They even have a Google Labs plugin that verify emails from PayPal. Even so, every once in a while something gets through, and I have to remain vigilant. I too got many mails regarding this. Once I got continuous mails and sms from them for days. How they got my number I don't know. I just ignored those mails and marked them as spam. And in the SMS there was no number and it have an Sender ID as an Bank name. Now a days a lot of fraud happening. These post will surely help to keep aware from those scams.
