Do you store some very important information on your USB drives? Or do you want to hide all the content stored in your USB drive from everyone with the help of a password? Then check out TrueCrypt which is a free open source encrypting software for Windows Xp, Windows Vista, Mac OS X & Linux.
There are different levels of Encryption Algorithms like :
AES
Serpent
Twofish
AES-Twofish
AES-Twofish-Serpent
Serpent-AES
Serpent-Twofish-AES
Twofish-Serpent
which are based on different bit sizes and different security levels.
- Creates a virtual encrypted disk within a file and mounts it as a real disk.
- Encrypts an entire partition or storage device such as USB flash drive or hard drive.
- Encrypts a partition or drive where Windows is installed (pre-boot authentication).
- Encryption is automatic, real-time (on-the-fly) and transparent.
- Provides two levels of plausible deniability, in case an adversary forces you to reveal the password:
1) Hidden volume (steganography) and hidden operating system.
2) No TrueCrypt volume can be identified (volumes cannot be distinguished from random data). - Encryption algorithms: AES-256, Serpent, and Twofish.

IS THERE ANY WAY TO PARTITION A FLASH DRIVE LIKE CELLPHONE’S MEMORY CARD??

As an avid traveler, I came across a secure USB drive that is perfect for my needs. The big advantage of this secure USB is that it has remote software control. This means that if you lose it, you can destroy all the information on it and not worry about your data being compromised.
