Just implement all the steps given in this article, and then drag and move all the programs you want to on the second monitor and this works like charm.

@Nanda, Nanda, you need to drag the screen 1 and 2 based on your real physical configuration as if you are moving the screens actually in the display settings.

Hi,

I tried this with my ACER Aspire 7730 and my pc screen and it works. The only problem I have is I have my Laptop monitor as my 1st screen and PC as second. The pc screen is to the right of my monitor. Whenever I turn my laptop on it always starts as if my PC screen were to the right and I always have to change the settings again. Somehow it doesnt seem to remember I put it on the left. Any ideas on how to solve this???

Such a unbelievable, life saver stuff! I never knew I could do this, never thought I can implement this on my own PC (without any hectic work).. I mean, this is the most useful stuff I never knew about. And thank god Amit bhai, this thing worked in no time.

Never knew the power of extended monitors, now I am on my Laptop and my monitor is clubbed with it, making my online experience much more fantastic :) Thanks a lot for this useful Article :) ..
