Make Free Calls from iPhone using 3G or Wi-Fi Internet

Viber Incoming CallWorried about the large Phone bills you get everymonth? Are you always online through WiFi, 3G or a Mi-Fi internet connection? Then here is a excellent application for iPhone users which can help you in making calls to your friends & family for free with the only limitation being that the other person should also have a iPhone with the app running in background.

Viber is an iPhone application that lets you make free phone calls to other iPhone users that have Viber installed. When you use Viber, your phone calls to any other Viber user are free, and the sound quality is much better than a regular call. You can call any Viber user, anywhere in the world, for free. All Viber features are 100% FREE and do not require any additional “in application” purchase.

Viber iPhone App Free Calls

To get started you need to visit the iTunes store and search for the ‘Viber’ App and then download the same. This is compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad. All your Viber contacts would be listed along with the normal contacts unlike skype where in you get charged for some calls.

Some of the best features of this application are that, it is completely free and works without any ads on the top or bottom. Also there are no international call charges nor any hidden costs because it works through the Internet Connection at your local area. You also get missed call notifications and the sound quality is claimed to be better than the GSM or regular call quality. Free text messages, more ringtones (and custom ones), wallpapers, location based services would also be soon integrated into viber.

  1. Viber is a pretty neat and simple tool. Skype is always known for it’s great service but who would like to pay when we are getting the same thing for free? And did you check out Fring? it too supports voice calling apart from the multi-messenger service for all the phone OS. Have been using it since it was for the Symbian OS, and now it’s better in function for the iOS and Android.
