Finally google guys at the google plex have started updating all the websites page rank which does not have much value though, because we need to target visitors not page rank in long term business. Overall this page rank was the worst one since all the “SEO” related websites/ directories and blog which talk about seo/webmastering got a heavy downfall in their page ranks.

Following points were found during this update :

1. I have found during this page rank update is that all the websites which were selling text link ads on thier websites got hit by this update and got a heavy page rank penalty.
2. Google has banned many text link selling agencies from their search index.
3. Sites being run by scripts are the major hits rather than sites running on pure html static pages.
4. Web directories were first alloted a page rank, then the other niche websites were updated.
5. Websites with sitelinks also got penalised heavily in this page rank update.

In short i can advise to stop selling text link ads on your website to make some money, rather make money from adsense ads and other pay per click programs and affiliate programs
