Gphone – Another service from google which offers all their users free call service on their mobile phones, since google wanted Google search & Google applications on end users mobile phones. Google is looking for mobile phone manufacturers who have the following services on their mobile phones – Cameras for photo and video, built-in Wi-Fi technology. Google is also suggesting manufacturers to design cell phones which work on 3G technology which would help the webpage to be loaded quickly on the mobile phones and also would have GPS – Global Positioning System technology inbuilt in it.

Google has already filed for a patent for this mobile payment system known as gpay which offers the users to send payments via text messages to others and the payment is debited from the user’s bank account and credited to the bank account of the payee.

The Rumours :

1. There are some reports from “AppleInsider” that google is now planning not to collabrate with cellular manufacturers and to develop their own mobile phone though its just a rumour and there is no official note for this.
2. Google is developing its own operating system for this cellular phones.
3. Google is going to offer free call service in which the users need to watch a 10-30 seconds advertisement prior to make the call to get access to this free service.
4. Google plans to invest $7-8 billion for its global telephony

Lets wait and watch , since its time google officials would make this news official and launch their service in the comming days giving the current mobile phone manufacturers and cellular operators a heavy competition.
