Google removes keywords from SERP’s

Google today surprised many webmasters at the webmaster forums by removing many keywords from the serps like

  • Make money online – Google Result Page
  • Web Directory – Google Result Page
  • Rediff – Google Result Page
  • As you can see from the above result pages that there are no results on the google result pages for many of these keywords and in short for any keywords. check out the below screenshots to understand more on this situation.
    Make Money Online Amit
    Web Directory Amit

Now let me help you in understanding this trick – when you search the same results from google toolbar you will get all the results but not in the case in the above URL. lets compare both the URL now >
    1. http://www.google.com/search?num=0&hl=en&safe=off&q=make+money+online&btnG=Search
    2. http://www.google.com/search?num=10&hl=en&safe=off&q=make+money+online&btnG=Search
Hope many webmasters didnt get a heart attack after reading the title and first paragraph of this google banning keywords post ;)
