After almost 2 years rumours and confusions about google talk[Gtalk] getting integrated with AOL instant messenger finally gets confirmed that this is going to happen very soon with the screenshots below.

Google had invested around 1billion USD for 5% stake of AOL for Online Video Offering and Make More AOL Content Available to Google Users.

Under the strategic alliance, Google and AOL will continue providing search technology to AOL’s network of Internet properties worldwide. The agreement’s broad range of new features for users and advertisers include:

* Creating an AOL Marketplace through white labeling of Google’s advertising technology - enabling AOL to sell search advertising directly to advertisers on AOL-owned properties;
* Expanding display advertising throughout the Google network;
* Making AOL content more accessible to Google Web crawlers;
* Collaborating in video search and showcasing AOL’s premium video service within Google Video;
* Enabling Google Talk and AIM instant messaging users to communicate with each other, provided certain conditions are met; and
* Providing AOL marketing credits for its Internet properties.

    Yahoo & Gtalk has always been famous for indians and this approach can help AIM get more indian based users.

    Definitely… Amit if u use AIM u will get addicted to it… and i also use AIM mail it simple rocks.. what Y! new version of mail is giving now was given to me by AIM long back… :) their technology is advanced.. :)

    Though very famous,There is one thing that i don’t like about GTalk is that there is no invisible mode like that of Y! msgr.

    Mr.Venkat. there is very much of the “invisible mode” option in GTALK like Yahoo! & I am currently using that option as i have exams and i m studying :) Please check once again… Better go to help pages of GOOGLE to find that option more easily..
