Google Talk Translates your chats in 29 languages

Are you in contact with someone from china? and are not able to chat with them because you dont understand ‘chinese’ and your friend does not understand ‘english’? If thats the case get ready for a new option in Google talk which offers the users to translate their normal language to 29 other languages and chat normally.
GoogleTalk anyway offers users to connect to Aim friends and also communicate to other services like Earthlink, Gizmo Project, Jabber.org and thousands of others without installing each of those. In order to translate your chat’s in other languages you just need to add google bots to your friends list and it works. This feature is available only on the Gtalk messenger client and not on any web messenger services like ebuddy.
Just add these bots using the following formats and you can translate any of your chats to any language in Gtalk.
“[from language]2[to language]@bot.talk.google.com”
ar2en, bg2en, de2en, de2fr, el2en, en2ar, en2de, en2el, en2es, en2fr, en2it, en2ja, en2ko, en2nl, en2ru, en2zh, es2en, fi2en, fr2de, fr2en, hi2en, hr2en, it2en, ja2en, ko2en, nl2en, ru2en, uk2en, ur2en, zh2en. So, for French to German translation, talk to fr2de@bot.talk.google.com.
Here is the complete list of Language Codes List where you can find the codes and make combinations for creating translations. This service allows English to any Non-English translations and also allows Non-English to another Non-English language translations, example : Allowing German to French and Vice Versa.
I didnt find someone who could understand Hindi , hence i started chatting with the bot itself and you can see in the screenshot how it instantly translates the words i pasted from wikipedia. My personal advice would be to make some test chats so make sure the translations you make are correct and the other person is not getting the messages in wrong meaning :p and create conflicts.

So in order to talk to a person who don’t know your language… you must know how to speak other person’s language. else this gadget is of nop help

Now the number of bots in my chatting list is reaching about the number of human contacts. I tried it and found the translations quite good.
Also sir, I would like to know how to write in Hindi in gTalk (as you did in the screenshot – or was it a copy paste text).
Other bots that I like are talkster.gtalk2voip.com for voice chat using PC to Phone.

Hi Amit, you have shared very good information. Can you tell if I add hindi bots then other person will get message in english or hindi. I want to control that option that other person either get hindi or english. Is it possible or not?

hey Amit nice job….really useful info…where m wrking currently thr i can use it to translate betn English n Japanese
but is thr any facilty that will directaly translate…coz here i hv to open 2nd window and hv to paste japanese code thr to get it transfer

Hi Amit nice information and i believe that google is going to be master of internet any no one will be able to cross google.
Google team and RND depatment is really very innovative they come with new features day by day.
I also tried it personally it was really great experience.. it will helped me and useful for others.

Just add this email to your Add Friends option : hi2en@bot.talk.google.com and it will take sometime to accept your friend invitation.

That was something exciting to read and learn the new fact abt GTalk. Although MSN and YM are still my favourites but Gtalk’s new feature seems impressive to curb down the communication barriers…..like they say ” There is no barrier, no boundaries only if we talk to each other ” …:)

You are somewhere right…. but GTALK has very limited mobility and not flexible as Y! Messenger… I still prefer YM
