How to Batch Export Google Docs Files
If you are using Google Docs then iam sure you would have hosted all your important files and presentations on the Google Docs section of your Google Account and whenever you need to update anything, you just login into your account and get access to everything ranging from Document Files, Spreadsheets, Presentations etc. Now the best part is that you can even use Google Docs Offline by installing Google Gears and this works similarly to Offline Gmail services but what if you want to move the files to multiple computers where you don’t have Internet Access nor installed Google Gears, then you can batch download all the Google Docs Files and Use them directly.
Click on the small drop down box and select all the Documents you have in your Google Docs Account. This setting will select all the Visible Docs and for the hidden one you need to change settings. Even if you have hundreds of Document Files in your account, Google Docs will select all and not just the ones which are on your Docs homepage.
Next you will find a option called ‘Export’ under the ‘More Actions’ link from the Top Menu Bar or else when you right click on the selected files. This is the main option which is going to help you in backup of your account files and which can even help you in downloading or sending the same files to anyone. Next along with a report of what all files you have selected you will have to click on Continue following which you will see a dialog box showing you a progress meter along with the time left for zipping the whole stuff. You can also click on the option of ‘Email When Ready’ if you have many files and if its going to take a lot of time to Zip. The zip file will only be available for a limited time. Please download it in the next three days to ensure that you receive it before it is removed.
