How to Create Paypal Invoice to Request Payment
Problem : I recently confirmed a deal with one of my Seo Client and the total deal was of around 8600$ for a 6 months period. The client requested me to first Send a Paypal invoice for the payment to get started but i never had earlier sent something like this. How is it possible to Create a Invoice to send it directly to a client?
Solution : This is a very simple job when you are using a service like Paypal because it offers you with easy wizard based tools using which any job can be done quickly. Normally your client can directly send you the payment by requesting your Papal Email and sending the funds, but sometimes companies have to first get a invoice for the payments they have to make, following which they can make the payments. In order to get started you need to first login to your paypal account by visiting the website at https://www.paypal.com/ followed by clicking on the ‘Log In’ link available in the top right.
You can create different Invoices from time to time and because of this Paypal allows you to save them as templates and use them again whenever you are planning to send similar Invoice for requesting payment. Since this is the first time you are create it, you need to click on ‘New Invoice’ > Continue.
Now in the given form you need to first enter the ‘Sender and Recipient info’ where you need to Enter your Name, Address, Phone Number, Receiptents Email or select a recipient from the last 15 recent transactions displayed under the drop down box.
Next you need to Enter the Invoice Details which is the section where you need to list all the payment details on why you are requesting money from the other party. First Select the currency, then the Invoice Type. In this case since you are offering some service, select the service option while if you are going to ship any physical goods, then you need to select the Goods option. Then enter the Email Subject which the other party would receive in their email though its optional.
The Quantity, Item ID options can be filled with number 1, since you are sending a single invoice, though if the services are all different, then you need to enter them one by one along with the Unit Price and if you are going to tax the invoice or not. Do select the option of ‘Add More Rows’ if you need to add more items in the same invoice. Click on the Continue Button to go forward to the next step.
On the next page you would be shown with a list of all the previously selected data under the ‘Preview Invoice’. Click on the Send Invoice Button, which will immediately send the invoice and ask you to save the Invoice if you need to resend a similar one to someone else in the future. Finally Paypal would email the other party with details on the invoice and a Payment link which they have to click and continue with the payment. Here in you will find all the invoice details which the other party can first review and then continue to pay.
