Whenever I start my PC, the start up sound distracts me very much as I use my computer more for studying purpose. I can not put off the sound of my PC as I have to make conversations with my friends regarding study. I asked many about the solution to this problem, but finally I found out the way out myself. I know many of you face the same problem like me, so I am writing down the process of disabling the sound for you to understand and apply.
How I Managed to Learn the Process?
I have learnt the entire process being a complete layman, so I am describing it to you as a person who knows very little computer. First I assumed that the problem must be solved by adjusting any function from the control panel, as I knew that the hardware functions are all available on the control panel. For days I tried to check the control panel, but couldn’t pick out the option that I had to select for disabling the start up sound. I couldn’t try for too long as I had to complete my studies in time and go to school.
During the summer vacations I got time to sit and explore the control system of my computer, and the result was I succeeded in my venture of finding out the process of disabling the windows start up sound.
Describe the Process of Disabling the Windows Start Up Sound?
First click on the ‘start’ button and select Control Panel. Then click on Sounds and Audio Devices of the control panel, a window will appear. Click the Sounds button.
After selecting the Sounds tab, you have to scroll down a bit and you will get the Windows Logon and Start Windows.
The Start Window and the Windows Logon are the two sections are the two functions you want to disable completely. To disable the start up sound click on the ‘none’ option of the pop up menu.
After selecting the ‘none’ option you will have to click on the ‘apply’ button to disable the start up tone of your computer.
Once you have learnt the process, you can also help your friends and relatives in disabling the start up sounds of their PCs. Although the process as completely new to me, I learnt it quite easily as I applied it myself.
