		<description>I&#039;ve found one of the best ways to extend the battery life is to create a power profile that you use when on battery.  I set the screen brightness to very low, set the screen to turn off to 1 min, but most importantly - find the one that controls how much of the cpu can be used.  set the minimum to 0, and the max to something low like 20%.

Then when you are using the laptop, it is limited as to the amount of cpu it can use, this won&#039;t cause problems for notes, wordprocessing, and web based stuff.  But can cause some issues if you are trying to play games etc.  Your results will vary depending on the laptop.</description>
