I had installed a few Google Chrome Extensions which looked similar to Firefox Add-on’s after reading that they were available for download, but after testing them for sometime i found that all of them were not really useful for me and i wanted to know if its possible to remove, delete and completely uninstall the selected extensions or else disable them for a small amount of time? If yes whats the procedure for this. Question by Arun
Yes, its very much possible to completely uninstall a Chrome Extension which you had previously installed and for this first of all you need to visit the Extensions section. Either click on the ‘Extensions’ button in the Tools Section or else enter the following in your browser’s address bar – chrome://extensions/
Thats it you will find a page with all the your installed Extensions along with options to keep them or remove them. To uninstall any Extension, use Chrome’s Tools > Extensions menu option, and click on the Uninstall link for the extension. You can check out the following Screenshot which can show you how this works.
Just click on the Disable or Uninstall button to complete your requirements. Thats it you have sucessfully completed your required job.
