A very neat netbook. Especially the design part, where HP fabricated a very beautiful external body. Packed within it are some good specifications that can make this netbook into the best list, but the battery life is what questions everyone.

Just stumbled onto your page - I, too, have an HP Mini 1001TU, purchased at about the same time (July 2009). Great netbook, stable and functional. Unfortunately, I have started getting a scratch in my screen from the keyboard - I understand that is typical of this and other HPs. Fortunately, I didn't have the same trouble getting used to the keyboard ... I had an HP Evo N410c previously, and the layout is similar. I wonder how yours is going now that a year has gone by? Cheers - DLT
