Hyundai India increases capacity after heavy Hyundai i10 Demand

HMIL the manufacturers of the car of the year 2008 - Hyundai i10 has now launched a new plant in India in order to increase their capacity to 6,00,000 units/year. This expansion was launched because the demand of i10 cars was increasing in the local and international market. The company officials have made plans to make an investment of $ one billion and the plans would double the current manufacturing capacity.

With the new i10 automatic transmission version coming out soon the company has taken this quick decision for expansions. The company is also planning to setup a R&D center in Hyderabad at the cost of 40 million dollars in order to designs for cars for Indian conditions.
